Update! I finally finished and gifted the 2 poppets I made, then decided I'd also slap some eyes on my first poppet and give her away too. The first pic is my Gram, very excited to have some new dolls for her grandchildren, and the second is a more detailed shot.

I have this camera and use 669 film...it takes freaking awesome vintage-hued pictures. I say just keep that bad boy, unless you aren't a camera person.

I did this once at a group home I worked at...45 minutes of shaving the crayons into piles, and a flat 10 minutes to pile them all together and make a bunch of brown mushy 'paintings'. But, it did keep everyone quiet-ish for an hour! This is a fun project for a box of broken crayons, although I prefer to melt all the broken crayons into mini-cupcake tins to make new, odd shape crayons.

Now that is an impressive Poppet! I love it. Any tips on making the pants? I've been thinking of making some for my poppet, but can't figure out where to start.

Forget the doll...what the hell is that first animal? Is it a monkey?? I like animals alright, but that thing is unfortunate.
