1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Love always, Charlie -secret letter swap- on: July 11, 2006 03:02:17 PM
haha, i posted last!

anyways, just got my letter today. congrats about the house!!! i'm way excited for you. i've been to the jersey shore, and you're right, its actually quite charming. minus the sharks (land and water). and whats this West New York, New Jersey??? i might have to venture there someday just to say i've been.
You're probably visiting your family now, which is excellent. if i didnt live so close to mine (and actually at home right now), i would die.

2  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Serial Killer Swap ( sign-ups june 30-july 17, send outs aug 3) on: July 10, 2006 01:36:54 AM
artxinxlies:

Have you seen "live freaky, die freaky"?  Here is a llink to the website:

http://www.livefreakydiefreaky.com/

It is a claymation, musical comedy about the Manson killings.  Super offensive and weird.

By the way, i would like to participate in this swap, but I am doing my first one now... Cry

i'm doing my first swap too, cause lemme tell you, if i weren't, i'd be in for sure.

and have you guys checked out http://www.crimelibrary.com?
its the most amazing website ever. i've spent many sleepless nights reading about serial killers. they have them all on there.

5  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 13 ENTRIES / to the popemobile! on: July 06, 2006 12:31:53 AM
for years now, i've had a strange fascination for all things pope related (mostly because i really want the popemobile), and i've had a love of sock monkeys my entire life, so it was natural to put the two together! so i introduce to you Pope Monkeyus the First.

here he is just hanging around the vatican.

here Pope Monkeyus is admiring some Madonnas.

and here he is doing some Pope-ly business.

i hope you all enjoy him!

8  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: Dawn of the Dead bleach stencil on: June 18, 2006 09:56:10 AM
i normally dont like bleach stencils, but this one is amazing! but yeah, how did you stop the bleach from bleeding? cause i stencil with freezer paper all the time, and i've heard that bleach still bleeds when you use it.
9  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Lite Brite coffee table! on: June 17, 2006 04:30:15 PM
i am so considering making one of these for my apartment.. i wonder if my roommate would go for it though......
I can't imagine why they wouldn't!

haha, well.. my roommate is a little bit picky when it comes to furniture in our "common living areas". i'm sending her a picture of the table though.. and if she likes it, i'm totally going to make it! *fingers crossed*
