Alright, I received a fabulous package from Renstar!

I really like what she did with this, I had put some of my favourite colours/themes as "manly woodsy". My Tall, Dark and Bearded likes it too! I like that it's a simple design with multiple elements to it.

Another idea based off colour preferences, I listed one colour as "Look At Me Red, sometimes called Harlot Red". She took it and ran with it!! I'm going to sew this to some matboard and frame it. I might put it near my bedroom mirror, which I etched with "never merely pretty"

Renstar found this in my Pinterest. It's a hot water bottle cover! And it looks almost exactly like my pin, it's incredible.

Of course the first thing I thought when I saw it was "Oh dear, am I going to be able to get a hot water bottle in there?" But the neck and body stretch quite a bit! I've tucked it into my linen cupboard with the hot water bottle for when it will be needed this winter. Smiley

Here is a closeup of the owl, the stitching int he other picture doesn't do the texture justice. In person, it just leaps out to the eye.

This is a bad picture... But these are two pairs of yoga socks that Renstar was able to stash bust while she made them. They have a hole for the toes and one for the heels so that a person can grip their yoga mat. Maybe in the new year I'll get back into it, I really enjoyed it while I was doing yoga. Except for the "clear your mind" bit. That's impossible.

But back to the socks! They're nice and warm, I can't wait to use them for their intended purpose.

She sent me chocolate! I'm saving it for Christmas morning. Smiley

One picture for two items. She sewed a bag and an apron from the same Marvel themed fabric. The apron refused to photograph nicely. I'm dubbing the bag as my new library bag, while the apron has been hung in the kitchen. I may lose apron rights if Tall, Dark and Bearded has his way...

These are a set of handwarmers. They're adorable and I love them.

She also sent a Superman Lego flashlight/keychain, but I seem to have put it in a "safe place" when my mum visited with her dog. He likes to chew on plastic, so I moved it away from the stocking... I'll post a picture when I figure out which safe place it's in.

Another item with no photos was something she sent by special request. Renstar lives in England, and my boyfriend's father is from Wales. They both love a particular cookie from Marks and Spencers that they can't get here. They wolfed down both sleeves before I thought to get my camera. Tall, Dark, and Bearded refers to them as a "taste of my childhood", and his dad, being Welsh and not very smiley, had the biggest grin from ear to ear.

Thank you so much, Renstar!! I really enjoyed swapping with you and I will think of you every time I use these presents!

My mum brought the Baby's First Christmas stocking so I could show you all. So not me...

So thank you to Renstar and Summer6061, who have given me two fabulous stockings that are so totally me in different ways, which means that I will never have to use the Baby's First Christmas stocking ever again. Cheesy

Ha! People left my house early so I'm posting pictures now. Smiley

Summer got right inside my head. She must have. That's the only way I can describe how awesome her taste is.

Summer made me a TARDIS stocking! I laughed out loud for a reason that you all will understand in a couple days. I really like the applique she did, and the inside is all sparkly and looks spacey. It's a really cool looking stocking!

Inside I found a really cute ornament with my initial on it. I gave it a primo location on my tree at my eye level. Wink

Tall, Dark and Bearded thinks it's "super adorable"

I also found two altered tea towels. The fabric she chose is really funky.

Here's a close up of the fabric she added. At first glance I thought it was ribbon, but this fabric is even better!

She also included a Harry Potter mug. I think it's baked Sharpie ink? As well as two flavoured coffees. I'm saving these for Christmas morning. Smiley

Here's the other side. I am not this kind of artistic, so I am wowed by the patience and skill it would take (compared to me) to complete something like this.

No stocking is complete without socks. I swear, now that I'm an "adult" I look forward most to socks in my stocking. "Sweet! I don't have to buy socks!"

Also, a pair of nice, warm gloves. I'm sticking these in my coat pocket first thing tomorrow. Though apparently we will reach +7C this week... in December!! Unheard of!

She also sent a couple packages of lime flavoured peanuts. I'm going to try these for a snack at work this week. I might have to save a pack for my dad. He loooooves nuts.

Hidden in the bottom of the box was a Doctor Who comic book! So cool.

Summer also made a tree of life necklace. I like this, it's not too clunky, but will still be quite eye catching. I even have a pair of earrings I'd like to pair this with. (see! she's in my head!)

I now have a buttload of tags. I must admit, right after I took the pictures, I squirrelled these away in my gift wrap holder so that I don't lose them. I still have some gifts to wrap, so I want to make sure I've put them where I'll be able to find and use them before next year! Smiley

Have some close ups. They are so adorable!! I love that the gingerbread men are unique, and I love that I could use each set for different types of people.

Tall Dark and Bearded refers to this as "The Book of Terrible Things"

I, however, am over the moon to have my own Spoilers book. Smiley I love the detail that went into this.

Inside, she added a new inside thingy... with Gallifreyan writing background!

Of course, I don't read Gallifreyan. So I'm going to have to decipher this sometime this weekend.

Summer sent me a message partway through the crafting period asking if the fact that I'd been run over by a cyclist was something I would later laugh about.
I told her that I was already laughing about it. When something so unlikely happens, what can you do but laugh?

She has immortalised my incident in a tasteful way. I will admit that I was worried that I would get a watercolour or something displaying my misfortune, but this t-shirt means that if someone asks about it, I can say "Do I have a story for you!"

Thank you so much, Summer! I love it all and hope that you enjoy your stocking!

I'm waaaayyyy behind! My sincere apologies!

I received this earbud holder from Frosty772. I'm planning to put it in my dad's stocking at Christmas. Smiley

Thanks Frosty! I'm sure he will love it!

I also received a package from Watson, she claimed me for some coffee cozies and some vinyl cutouts

And she made them reversible!

I can't decide which sides I like better. :p

She also claimed me for some vinyl cutouts, so that I can give everyone in my family a piece of the lake.

So here is one of them on an ornament. I haven't figured out how I'm going to keep the sand from spilling out, but man does this look gorgeous even on its own!

She gave me a few extra for oopses, for which I am grateful! I'm going to have a bit of a job getting these done.

thank you, Watson!!

Thanks, both of you! I really appreciate these packages. Smiley

I received a really cool package from Ryn today!

Ryn made a really cool image of Loki's helmet out of buttons.
Now I have to admit, I first looked at this upside down and was terribly confused for a moment. Then the penny dropped and I was all "Ohhhhh I get it! That's pretty funky!"
I'm going to find a frame for it. Smiley

I love Firefly. Love love love it.
This is some Inarra style jewelry because that woman has good taste! I'm going to wear this often.

Close up of my cleavage.. Errrr... I mean the necklace.

Three necklace pendants! So cute. Smiley
The dinosaurs are from Wash's "this land" scene in the first episode of Firefly, and the Iocaine powder from the Princess Bride.
I was setting them up for a picture and giggled when I realized that they're both from battles to the death. :p

I think I audibly squeed over this itty bitty  canvas. I LOVE this image from Heroes. It's going on my wall first thing tomorrow when I find my hanging hardware.

Thank you so much, Ryn! I'm really happy to have swapped with you! I love the package you sent. Smiley

I received from Grab a coffee!

This package included several little balls if colourful yarn. I'm going to teach myself amigurumi(spelling?) so these will be perfect for that learning escapade!

She also sent some very pretty fabric. I haven't decided how to use it yet, but I'm thinking a bath apron for a pregnant coworker.

And lastly some stitch markers!
These are so pretty, I'm actually tempted to use them as wine glass markers. :p

Thanks Eszster!! I know I will use all of these soon. Thank you so much for swapping with me!

I also forgot to post Anna's gift to me :p

She sent me this lovely jewellery set! I wore it to a family dinner and got loads of compliments on them. Smiley

Here is a close up. She said she based the colours off a photo of a place she loves. I can see why, it's a lovely lake!!

I really love these, Anna! I know I'm going to wear them often. Smiley thank you!!

I received from Dessadoll but have been dealing with family issues the last couple weeks... So sorry, dessadoll!!

Anyway, she has claimed me for some ornaments. Smiley

Sideways. Sigh at the phone. :p
They are absurdly adorable. Smiley I love their little cheeks!

Here is a close up of the Santa. I love how classic he looks. I'm a big fan of this style of Santa.

And one of a penguin! Soooo cute!!

Dessadoll also included an extra little goodie. It's a Santa fork!!
I think it's really neat and finicky how she curled the fork tines in his beard! I would not have the patience for that. Smiley kudos!

And it may not show well, but the white of his hat is textured and puffy!! I'm lovin' it!

Thank you again, dessadoll!! I can't wait for Christmas!!

I received from Bakeneko today. Smiley

Mug sleeves!

Mua ha ha! These are coming with me to work.

These are vinyl stickers. I've left the protective paper on them. I'll post a photo once I have them up.

I'm really excited about these. I'm the cochair for health and safety at my work, and I think it's amazing that I can incorporate safety into my crafting. Cheesy

Thank you Bakeneko!! I love the parcel you've made for me. Smiley
