I've wanted velvet loafers for some time now and I finally found them at Kohl's. They were looking a bit plain to me so I decided to 'stache them up LOL! The whole project was about $15 including the loafers  Grin

If you want to see how I did them, watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CY3YhElTMA

And as usual, the steps are outlined here: http://www.nonachewy.blogspot.com/2013/09/diy-mustache-loafers.html

Thank you  Grin and I usually wear them to work. I should apply acrylic sealer on them though since Mod Podge by itself doesn't do the job of keeping everything together  Embarrassed

I came across comic book shoes not too long ago and thought they were such a cool idea. Sadly, I don't have any comic books  Sad. So instead, I was inspired and used magazines instead because I have plenty of those lying around. This was also my first time using Mod Podge, so things did get messy LOL  Cheesy This DIY really did give my old flats the makeover they needed though  Smiley

I filmed myself just in case anyone else wants to watch and give it a go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7q3suUoEAM

And I outlined each step here: http://www.nonachewy.blogspot.com/2013/08/diy-magazine-flats.html

I would love to see some pics if you do try this DIY Grin
