They are teeny little stencils that i made. i did them on the tounge too but you cant see it because of the laces. It didn't turn out quite how i wanted- to look like it was printed onto the fabric the shoe was made from. And i should have made the colours more pastley. On a brighter note, the shoes only cost £6, kerching!

i made him for my friend, hoodie and all. A less scary picture:

He is a sock monkey (naturally) and i made the hoodie out of a sleeve that i cut off a t-shirt, the hood had to be really big to accommodate his ears.

I made this for a fancy dress party(which sucked by the way) back in the summer. I thought that i was being really original but it turns out there were 2 other salors there aswell , my outfit was the best though   ... Well lets just say it was the only one that had been hand made.
So it was made from a white tshirt and a blue one. It was the most challenging recon i had done so far, and i didnt have much time to do it in so some of the inside edges are a bit messy. but i doubt i'll ever ware it again, so...

Its made from a little shoe box and some cereal boxes. And fully lined with black velvet (but a bit raggedy around the edges)

So i made this skirt (my first one ever!) and i put the zipper in and did all the waistband, but when i put it on the zipper part was all wiggly (if that makes sense). I'm mean it all stuck out funny. I think its because its cut on the bias so it stretches around the zipper.
So i unpicked the zipper (luckily it was easy) but i don't know what to do now. How do i make it stay strait? I'm thinking of maybe using some interfacing on the sides of the zipper to kind of straiten it out. Will that work? Thanks.

They're make of that shrinky stuff. i can't seem to find any plain stuff over here in the uk so i had to use some old flower fairy printed ones from when i was little. They are called Willy's Shrinkles. Anyway, it was annoying because i had to sandpaper the back of them as it was all shiny and the penicl wouldnt stick. The heart and diamond have pieces of the candytuft fairy on the back of them . So does anyone in the uk know of any shrinkstuff?

Ok so I made this aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaage s ago and didn't get round to posting it. Then weiwei (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=16739738.0)
went and posted hers so now i donut get to shock you all with my wild originality.
Its my fault tho, that'll teach me to be so lazy.



Here he is. His name is Jimmy Tooth, you can't really tell he's a tooth in the pic but its slightly more obvious in real life. Aaaaaaaaaaaand hes made of felt.


Ok, finally the tutorial is here, just for you art rainbows!


1) Cut out felt as shown above. For his side, measure all around the edge of the tooth body and use that for the length, my width was 3cm, but it would look good wider so it was kind of square too.  The height of my tooth is 7cm from root to tip!


2)Next sew his little teeth to his mouth. Its best to use a very thin needle for this or you’ll end up with lots of little holes in his teeth where the needle was poked through.


3) Now sew on his eyes and mouth to one side of his body. Use lots of little stitches else the corners of his mouth might fray a bit!


4) this is the tricky part. start sewing your long edge to the tooth (you could start with the back so it wont matter so much if it’s a bit messy) its trickiest between his legs, or roots! I know I know the pic is awful! If you’re having trouble working out what its meant to be just ask!


5) Once you’ve sewn all around, sew the two ends together. I usually end up with the side too long but if this happens just cut it down to fit.


6) Now start sewing the front to the sides. Make sure the front is at the same angle as the back else your tooth will end up all skew whiff. sew most of the way around but leave a space for stuffing.


7) Now stuff! Make sure he’s really full of stuffing so he’s nice and plump! Then sew up the hole, and you're finnished!

This is my first post on this board, so... yeh, hope you like:

This is made from many many quality street wrappers that I have collected from Christmases over the years. I'd like to point out that i didn't eat all the quality streets myself, i had a band of merry relatives to help me out on that one. So anyway, i had the 2 hoops from an old lampshade that was far too dark to have in my room. I just stuck all the wrappers together with selotape and then to the hoops, it was pretty easy actually.

Um... i dont know quite what you'd call this. A lighting feature? Whatever, its made from some butterfly wings that i made for a party last year where all the glitter is i used glow in the dark glue stuff. It doesn't work very well though... I just kinda wrapped all the fairy lights around it (its a VERY long string of fairy lights- took a long time). I stuck the peacock feathers and little birdy on as an after thought so it looks nicer when the lights aren't on.


And in full twinkaly glory...

Theres been a lot of felt junk food around here recently, cakes, pizzas, etc. so I thought, this is all very well, but people are forgeting their 5 a day, we all need our (felt) vitamin C to fight off the (felt) bacteria thats floating around everywhere. Thus, I bring you a felt watermelon!  



The colours came out surprisingly accurately, the top bit is a very bright shade of pink, I think you can tell that from the pic. I use it as a pincushion, thats what all the Little holes in the top are. When I was making it I grossly miscalculated the edge of the top circle, so the green bit is kind of pleated at one side, but wadaya gonna do, eh?

(When I say "junk" food I don't mean to cause any offense, your felt food is no way junk )

This is Alonzo, named after the little monkey in Babar. He has a little felt fez and waistcoat.


I don't know what she's called, I made her for a friend's birthday, out of a pair of little girl's socks. They came in a pack of 5, so I'm going to make an army of little sock monkeys mwahaha


I made this little cat for my mum, for her birthday. She has her own little cushion, which I was going to attach to her with velcro, but I couldn't find any so I sewed her on instead.

This chap is called Little Thing. I don't know what he is, or why he has an apple in his hand, but he's very small and made of felt.
