That's so cute! You should make a whole circus of them and take loads of photos! Perhaps even make a stop frame animation...  Grin

Ok, here are the pictures of what Mokba43 sent me! Its all ADORABLE!

The whole lot! There is a lot! All wrapped up in lovely tissue paper (which my puppy ended up tearing up and eating Roll Eyes )

Hello kitty(dressed as a panda!) key cover thing, mirror with a little kitty on, adorable STICKERS! and glorious hk ribbon.

A sweet stamp, pandapple and my melody sented tissues, hello kitty pencils and money box, and lip balms! (mokba is kindly feeding my addiction! Cheesy)

A plush mush (my brother wanted to steal it but I didn't let him!) hk postcard (stuck on my wall now) and sanrio paper bag. I have this thing about paper bags, I can never throw them away, this will be the highlight of my collection! And a scarflet, or is it a tea towel? Either way its the cutest thing ever! I may make it into a purse if I can bring myself to cut it up, that way I will always be able to look at it!

More stickers! Badges, and a sweet ring. Knitted mushroom earrings! They are so cute and fun! And a knitted hk brooch which will look sweet on my winter coat! All came in this amazing milk carton with a face, that she made! Its so neet, and lined with lovely fabric too!

A sweet mushroom canvas that she painted herself! And a notice board, its so neat and proffessional! The fabric is so cute though, I don't think I could bear to cover it with things!
There was also a lovely towel that you can see in the first picture, which is handy because I'm going to uni for the 1st time in 8 days and I needed towels, I will get more to match this one!
Thanks Claudia, it was worth the wait Cheesy
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / A long overdue dress and skirt (velvety ric-racety goodness) on: August 16, 2009 12:51:08 PM
Hello
This is quite embarrassing. I made this dress last summer and the skirt last autumn, and have only now got around to posting Embarrassed Oh well Cheesy
So, the dress is an amy butler pattern, which, if I remember rightly was quite nice to make. Although I foolishly attempted to line it with super thin muslin which was a huge mistake, it just frayed and floated around everywhere Roll Eyes But at least its on the inside.

(I really don't know why my face looks so squinty, it must have been the resizing)
It's rather cutesy, so I tend to wear it with a lot of black Cheesy A close up of the cute print (and evil muslin):

I made this skirt from some lovely black velvet that was hanging around the house. I love velvet, but it leaves a LOT of little black bobbles all over the place. I made up the patten myself, the front consists of three pannels with pleats at the sides. I call it my gretel skirt Cheesy

Its pretty damn short though, I'm thinking of adding a bit to the bottom...
You can't really see, but the zip is a nice brass metal one. (that velvet is REALLY had to photograph) Pleats:

And sweet ribbons sewn on very wonkily Undecided

Sorry the pictures are so bad, I really can't photograph myself  Grin
Thanks!

9  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Heart of flowers on: July 23, 2009 11:50:53 AM
Thanks again everyone!
Will you frame that or make it into a pillow? Sorry if I missed where you might have mentioned that. It's just beautiful. I am such a novice at embroidery!
I was going to frame it but I couldn't wait so I just gave it to them plain. I think they are going to have it framed, I'll post pictures if they do it soon Smiley
