31  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / lace leafie-ness?? on: June 17, 2007 06:14:04 PM
I'm in the process of attempting to knit a pair of arm warmer/gloves, and I've been looking for a good leaf pattern to incorporate into it. i saw this:

in a blog along time ago,and it would be perfect, but sadly its in a magazine and i don't have the patience to wait for a back order! Dose anyone know of where i can get a pattern that looks similar? (preferably oner on the internet that i can get now and not one in a magazine)
32  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Im digging a hole to china using a tooth pick... on: April 13, 2007 04:59:48 PM
Ive looked on Google, on the F.A.Q.'s and i've searched my hands off...
I want to knit an ear flap hat in double knit but with 3 colors, i want to put the union jack in greyscale on it. is this possible?

this is what im going to attempt to recreate http://www.knit-head.com/shop_head5.html
im not willing to pay 105.00 for a hat.

Im planning to cut yarn into strips for the  mohawk part than tieing them individually to it. will this work?

Have i gone completely off the deep end?
