1  Re: very easy to make I POD CASE ***look*** w/tutorial in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by positron on: October 09, 2005 11:06:56 AM
Here's mine:

Though it's not big enough to hold earphones, I did poke a little hole in the top so I could listen.

2  Re: Knitty's Ribbon Xback in Knitalongs by positron on: May 30, 2005 02:07:12 PM
It took three tries, but I finally finished my Ribbon Xback.  I'm pleased with how it turned out. It's a little short for my taste, but I'm too lazy to go back and fix it.  Knitting with the ribbon wasn't as difficult as I expected, but weaving in the ends was terrible--I kept splitting the yarn.

3  Coral Bracelet in Beads: Completed Projects by positron on: December 22, 2004 07:44:19 PM
Here is my new coral/peridot/copper bracelet.  It's nothing particularly special, but I like the way it looks.  It was a nice quick project.

4  Re: Seed Bead Mandala in Beads: Completed Projects by positron on: September 18, 2004 10:39:27 PM
Great tutorial!  After making two of these with seed beads about a year ago, I got some major inspiration while at a local craftstore today:

Voila, my glow-in-the-dark pony bead mandala, shown at about actual size (on my computer at least).  I'm not sure what to do with it though.  Any ideas?

5  Re: orange yarn = one hott shirt in Knitting: Completed Projects by positron on: September 18, 2004 08:55:00 PM
I finally finished mine.  It's made from the same kool-aid yarn as moska's.  Halfway through the front I realized I didn't have enough green yarn, so I switched to the purple.  The back is all green.

6  Umbrella Notebook in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by positron on: May 01, 2004 08:28:45 PM
This is a notebook I made for my dad.  It's made of a plain notebook (not spiral bound), a few cocktail umbrellas, and duct tape.  It's pretty easy; first I snapped off the top and the toothpick part of the umbrella, and flattened out the circles.  Then I glued the circles down to the cover of the notebook (which I had covered with a sheet of paper since the cover's pattern would have shown through).  I went over the whole thing with a thick coat of modge-podge, and lined the edges with duct tape.
