Hello

Wondering if any of you can help me out.
I have had a few interesting events occur and want to film it as it happens but have no experience with a camera/videocamera and no idae how to make a documentary.
This is something that I think is an interesting story and if for no other reason other than personal importance would like to have filmed.

The story:

I am a 21 year old female who, along with my twin brother was raised in Toronto by a single Pakistani mother.
My father is french, who I have never met, who had a relationship with my mother in Pakistan 22 years ago and when she got pregnant she moved to Canada to have us.
I looked for him online never found him.
My mother got cancer when we were 3, survived, worked full time, raised us alone, did her PhD, and became a prof/writer/editor and died in 2007 from a reoccurance of cancer.
About 6 weeks ago on a google search I found my father. We've been emailing, chatting, phoning ever since and he lives in France with his wife of 6 years.
I want to go meet him and I want it to be filmed in some way or the other. Interviews, filming our first meeting, before and after thoughts, etc.

I don't know how to go about it, but am interested in any opinions or suggestions.

I am a student and have no money to offer you, this would be a creative collaboration between us.

I am in awe of this purse from Sex and the City movie because I am in love with Paris.
However, 3000$ for a purse ain't happenin' and neither is the non-crystalized $400 version...I may love one of the most expensive cities in the world but that don't mean I am rich...plus, I'm a student.

I am sure, and hopeful, that one (or more) of the amazing craft talents that read this could help me come up with a way of making a 3D eiffel tower purse....

I found one cheaper one but it's only in England and the topshop in the US doesn't have it (plus shipping to canada would be insane, anyway) but this cheaper looking one is fine too...anything eiffel tower i love.

I am so desperate
I bought a pair of lovely moccasins without soles but have been wearing them as shoes...and of course tnow there is a hole in one of the bottoms but I just cannot throw them out!
What I'd like to do is just glue on (there's this fancy glue at the hardware store whose name I forget but it's good for such things) rubber soles on the botoom and the cobbler wants to charge 40$ to do it so I thought forget it, I'm sure I can do it, but nowhere on earth does it seem possible to buy one pair of (i'm size 7, if that matters) rubber soles for the outside of my beloved shoes!!!
I live in Toronto, have searched online ebay, google, walmart (evil), canadian tire....
I'm lost.
ANY IDEAS?!

Well, this is not really art but I love it so much that I thought it best fits under 'art'.
after days of fighting with my boyfriend, we made up and i started taking fun photos with his phone and took one that i now adore. it reminds me of some picture from a magazine, an ad or something.
what do you think it could advertise?
