1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Inkjet + tissue paper = awesome on: June 08, 2010 03:31:04 PM
I've been experimenting with collage since I have a box full of random scraps of paper. I discovered that my lovely inkjet printer can print on tissue paper without smearing. You can then glue it on magazines, paint chips, etc.

I'm thinking about framing these!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Bermuda Wrap Shorts on: June 12, 2006 11:27:08 AM

My 14-yr old daughter found the instructions to make a pair of wrap pants in my old copy of Make it with Mademoiselle. The project from start to finish took about an hour and a half to two hours. She also made a pair out of stretch denim. This pair is made from knit pique.

EDITED TO ADD:

These are made with stretch denim, elastic in the waist, and a button fastener. We cut the side panels too thin the first time, so we added contrasting panels to extend them. She wears these all the time!
3  CRAFTSTER CRAFT CHALLENGES / Craftster Craft Challenge Theme Ideas, Etc. / What else can you do with flatback marbles? on: May 02, 2006 08:21:58 AM
I love flatback marble magnets, but I'd love to see what other uses they can be put to.
4  Texas / Texas: Northwest / Any craftiness in the Panhandle? on: November 09, 2005 06:57:17 AM
Ah, the forgotten Panhandle... we'll never be as cool as the rest of TX, even with the Cadillac Ranch.  Wink  Anyway, anyone know of some hidden craft/thrift shop gems in the Amarillo/Lubbock area?

Thanks from Amarillo!
