1  Inkjet + tissue paper = awesome in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Doxieland on: June 08, 2010 03:31:04 PM
I've been experimenting with collage since I have a box full of random scraps of paper. I discovered that my lovely inkjet printer can print on tissue paper without smearing. You can then glue it on magazines, paint chips, etc.

I'm thinking about framing these!

2  Bermuda Wrap Shorts in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Doxieland on: June 12, 2006 11:27:08 AM

My 14-yr old daughter found the instructions to make a pair of wrap pants in my old copy of Make it with Mademoiselle. The project from start to finish took about an hour and a half to two hours. She also made a pair out of stretch denim. This pair is made from knit pique.

EDITED TO ADD:

These are made with stretch denim, elastic in the waist, and a button fastener. We cut the side panels too thin the first time, so we added contrasting panels to extend them. She wears these all the time!

3  Re: 2005 Completed Costumes Scrapbook (completed projects with pictures go here) in Halloween Costumes by Doxieland on: November 05, 2005 01:27:21 PM
Here's my son, The Burger King.

I modified a wizard pattern for the robe. His neck ruff is pleated paper. He offered his unsuspecting victims the "meatliscious brainwich." Mmm mmm mmm.

Forgive me if the photo thing doesn't work. It's my first try.
