1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Blobbie Monsters on: July 13, 2013 12:38:34 PM
This is my first completed project post, so bear with me  Undecided

Last night I was at a loose end and made these little things before bedtime (though, I still stayed up to cure them, which was naughty since apparently I was grumpy today!)
I have no idea what to call them, they're currently just called my little "Blobbies" which I think might actually stick the longer I think about it.
I had a lot of watch parts from another project that never happened, and just wanted to use them for something, and these were the outcome in the end. They're not the neatest, but I think the imperfections makes these all the more cute  Grin

Grouped together

Orange and white glitter Polymer clay. This is my favourite one out of the three.

Plain orange. I actually really like this one the longer I look at it

Murky white from the amount of dust that was floating around. Not so impressed with this one to be honest.
2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Resistors with the use of fimo/sculpy on: July 12, 2013 02:00:14 PM
I have a load of Resistors that I picked up cheap for another project that never happened and was wondering if anyone knew if they would be any good in making/enhancing Fimo/Sculpy models?

I don't want to ruin my oven if they're not compatible, and wanted to know if anyone else had used them with Fimo/Sculpy models and what their experiences were.
3  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Hello! on: July 11, 2013 07:01:51 AM
Hello there!

I'm Kerantli, or if it's easier Kera, or even Gemma  Grin

I've been on Craftster for a few days now, having a good nosy around (and posted in places before actually introducing myself!)

I am from a large city in the UK (Leeds), and I (obviously) craft.

The things I do?

Notebooks
Fimo
Sewing
Bake
Write
Sing (What? It's classed as crafty, isn't it?)

I also have two rather... energetic (difficult, delayed, hyper) kiddies, both are boys, and both have their own unique ways of keeping me on my toes (Including making "potions" on the bedroom carpet instead of the sink like normal children!)

I tend to keep myself to myself usually, and end up disappearing from places like this when it gets too much/too busy too fast, but from looking around, it's quite a reasonable pace to keep up with!

I do want to learn new crafts (once I get the space!) like;
Knitting
Crochet
making mosaics

I think that is all, oh! I also have a partner who is also crafty, even to the point we're in our local craft shop weekly, and plan trips out to other ones that are around us (The next trip to a craft shop that isn't our main one is in a week!)

Well, hope to be floating around for a while  Grin
