I received from alliekat914 today.  She sent me some Silhouette cutter supplies, Dr Who keychains and a monster chunk of charms.  I really needed a new Silhouette blade so I laughed when I saw it...and the pens that she sent are on my Amazon wishlist, too perfect!  I had a blast laying out all the gorgeous charms on the table and ooohing.  I have so many favorites in the pile, they are all so unique.  And the best of all...alliekat914 sent me a "are you my mummy" mask keychain (I was embarrassingly overexcited about that, so cool!) and a beautiful Rose picture keychain with a lil rose charm on it, yeeeee!  I love them so much I'm still debating on if I want to actually put them on my keychain, I would flip if I lost them. Thanks so much alliekat!

Mama24boyz made my daughter her "boo", a crazy adorable 11th doctor!!  My daughter doesn't watch the show, she's just seen pictures, played with the Legos and gets excited about any Dr Who swap stuff I get so now she has her very own doctor.  She walked in from school and saw him waiting for her on the table and yelled "my boo is here!"  She sends a huge thank you. Your packages are always a huge hit in this house, thanks so much mama24boyz!

I got a tree of live necklace from Phoenixfiredesigns and I looooove it!  I rarely wear jewelry but I just had to have a PFD, and this beauty will make me want to wear jewelry more often, it's so gorgeous!  I wore it around today and got my daughter to take an action shot (I'm horrible at taking those!) so she tells me to "saaaay poooopie!"  I had to pull my black teeshirt down a bit so you could see it better and my daughter says "don't do that, it's going to fall in your bump-bumps and get lost!"   She cracks me up.  I can't explain how perfect the wire wrapping is, it's totally smooth and insanely well-done. Thanks so much PFD!

I haven't seen Frozen yet either, but that ami is adorable!  I love looking at everyone's supply packages just as much as I love the handmade ones.  It's so fun going through bags of goodies.

It was really hard to give up the Doctor Who pouch, I love having an idea and it works out....which is happening more often now that I'm crafting a lot for Craftsters.  I use a lot of tutorials but I'm slowly finding my way, yah!  The vinyl zip pouch was a tutorial that I had pinned so I can't take design credit on that.
Here's the inside

I'm glad you liked the zippies gaudiknight, I'm a zip pouch lover myself Smiley

I got a swap kit from koalascout, yes!   Man she packed some serious stuff into that lil tin. This stuff will last me for forever!  It's filled with return address labels, tons of mini swap cards and she even threw a pen in there....I'm set!  Thanks koalascout

I also got a watercolor picture of my daughter from Rockmygypsysoul and I almost passed out. It is so beautiful and the color she picked is perfect...I love this picture so much, I can't wait to hang it.  My husband even stared at it for a long time with a smile.  Oooh and I got a taste of her beautiful wildflower art on her thank you card. Thank you so much Rockmygypsysoul!

Today I got a really cool package from my partner megancrafts, yeeeee!
She wrapped each item in pretty tissue paper, I really need to get better at wrapping, it was fun to open.   Megan made an awesome Reno 911 hanging hoop bucket that I immediately found a place for in our office (i love storage and this bucket is even better because I'll laugh every time I look at it).  She also sent a cross-stitched Daenerys (Game of Thrones) eating a horse heart for her boo...this cracked me up, absolutely love it!  Next up is what I'm guessing is a tea wallet with the two hearts of Doctor Who.  It's so cute, I'm sure I could find lots of different ways to use this pouch. Then there is the cutest lil 10th Doctor felt doll, I can't tell you how detailed he is... from rosy cheeks to his tiny little sonic screwdriver to the smallest shoelaces I have ever seen hahaha.  I'm still looking him over, he is so well made, I can't imagine how much time it took to make him.  Finally, Megan sent me some chocolate treats, yumm.  Thanks Megancrafts!

Ooooh I love that PFD necklace!  Girl got skillz

I received an awesome supply package from SheepBlue yesterday.  My daughter and I had so much fun going through all the beautiful ephemera and supplies. I think we both reached for the doorknocker at the same time, I immediately thought about trying to make a clay Labyrinth door knocker face on it...oooh but then there's so many more ideas.  I got bias tape, zippers, purse handles (!!) and a really neat strip of snap buttons.  And the papers have me so excited, look at that pile of inspiration!!  Thanks so much SheepBlue!

Yesterday I got a claim from Gamemom42 for a raindrop cloud and man she made a gorgeous one.  She used beautiful red and white fabric that she had used to make a purse for her daughter over twenty years ago, I am totally in love with it.  I love the red, white, pink and grey together..it fits in my daughter's room perfectly. When my daughter went into her room and saw it, she said "why did you put that in my room?".  I said (worried she didn't like it) "because a craftster made it for you, don't you like it?"  She said "YES, it's beautiful!!  I didn't know it was for meeee!"   Phew!  She doesn't normally get excited about decorations, so that was a huge response lol.
Gamemom42 also sent some really beautiful pink fabric as well, a huge piece. I will definitely find projects to sew up with that, I love the stripes and details on the fabric. Thanks so much Gamemom!

30  Re: Box of Sunshine Gallery (SO Feb 17) in The Swap Gallery by Watsonc7 on: February 18, 2014 06:20:24 PM
I received a super box of Sunshine from my partner kbrison today and I'm still giddy over it.  I got super spoiled!

Here's a picture of all the handmade items, which I just realized was blurry so I'll post the mini shots too...

Here's a better look at a hoopla she made me for one of my uber fav songs "Thank You" by Led Zeppelin.  I almost wet myself when I saw it (hey, more yellow!), I snuggled it for a long time!  Then she also sent a mini sun notebook version, ohhhhh!  She could have stopped there and I would have been a happy woman....but nope, she wasn't done. I also got a sunflower pincushion.....

More handmade goodies:  sun magnet, sun stamp, post its holder, plant markers, ribbon bookmark, and oooohhh a gorgeous starfish doily

Pick up your jaws guys....not done yet
I also got: adorable pineapple magnets, magnetic ribbon bookmark, and a chevron mini notebook

Here is all the extra goodies.  The list is insanely long so to summarize, I got some tasty treats, spray bottle, tons of different sized notecards and paper, mini magnetic tins filled with supplies, sunflower plant pot, fat quarters, flower seeds, embellishments, cookie cutters and lots of other adorableness

I had such a fun time with this box, I enjoyed every bit and piece of it. Thank you so much kbrison, you made my day!
