4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / OLD to NEW - painted wooden child's chair on: July 02, 2013 02:01:13 PM
As I find old wooden children's chairs, I paint them and give to kids in my family. This was the last one I did for my Great Nephew.  These little wood chairs are usually sitting in thrift shops all alone and sad.

I have always used lids for my candles and noticed a lot of them in stores now without lids, do you find for soy that they lose scent faster not being lided?

9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: What are you favourite new craft tools - or craft tools in general??? on: July 02, 2013 01:27:41 PM
Mine isn't really a tool but I LOVE the new glass paints from Martha Stewart.  No more hand washing - hand painted glasses anymore!  THese make them dishwasher safe, its quick drying , easy to cure and people love the fact that they no longer have to hand wash all the hand painted glasses. !!
10  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Spray paint question on: July 02, 2013 01:25:23 PM
I spray paint chairs before I do the detail acrylic painting on them.  I do use a high gloss which I love but hate when it puddles.  I will have to sand if I get heavy handed with the spray paint and get a puddle or drip.   If I don't like the color, I just go over it with another but I do agree with the primer all in one.
