11  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: the ever-popular pants-to-skirt recon on: July 25, 2005 02:58:59 PM
Absolutely adorable!  Do you think that cotton fabris (things li ke you can use for quilting,a s well) work with this pattern?  I'm REALLY new to making my own clothes.  I have piles of fabric from funky to sweet to conservative Smiley  I want to use it for other things than quilting.

Thanks
Shai
12  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Should I embellish this? on: June 05, 2005 12:20:45 PM
I agree with the brown color being suggested.  I'd take it a step further, if the pink isn't a shocking pink <g>, use the color theme for neopolitan ice cream!  Brown, cream, pink.  It's the hottest trend in just about everything!  Now, remember, brown comes in all kinds of shades ... as I look at the base and see Air Force s*&( brown ROFL

Shai

PS: Your embellishments can always come from the jewlery you wear: vintage pin, bracelets, earrings etc

I hope I helped!! Smiley
