Cry Hi... I have run into a big problem on my clap. I can't figure out what has gone wrong, but the stitches won't drop. They're stuck! (And yes, I dropped the right stitch.) Here's a picture:

It's not the best picture but it's the best I can manage. It's like all of the sudden the thread goes in the wrong direction.I'm halfway through... Please HELP!  Cry

My sister were supposed to make her boyfriend socks for Christmas, but she never got started. So finally I said I would make them. They took forever, I sure don't like rib... But here they are (well one of them):

This is my Clapotis:

and the close-up (I'm using both markers - made by me - and the purling method):

I've made progress since the picture, and have dropped 2 stitches  Grin. But now I have to begin on a new ball of yarn and I hate joining yarn, so I'm kinda doing everything else at the moment. The yarn is Garnstudios Silke-Tweed.

4  In need of a new project in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by BoredOutOfMyMind on: February 17, 2006 06:43:56 AM
So I haven't been knitting for a week or two and I'm going crazy. I see all these gorgeous things to knit, but I really can't by any new yarns. The Isabeu purse seems like a perfect stashbuster, but I have no yarn with the right gauge and I suck at figuring out how to change it. And also I have this incredible rainbowcolored yarn (see it in the center of the basket?) that I'm dying to make something of but have nooo idea what!
Feel like giving my some ideas?! Bring 'em on! Or tell me how I change the gauge 16stx19r=4" to 18stx21r=4" (both on 5mm needles). Or do both!!

Yey! I can finally post pics of my FO's. I'm a selftaughed knitter, and my knitting is what makes me most proud in my life at the moment.

This summer people were laughing at me while I was knitting a winterhat. Well, the joke's on them...
I followed this pattern http://straw.com/cpy/patterns/iceland-fizzstardust-feltedhat.html

This little handbag I made for my sisters birthday, which was yesterday. So now I can post  Cheesy

Made after this pattern: http://dtuttle.com/debiknits/

I got much appreciation for the handbag!!

Take care!
