I can Captain Team Textbook, I don't promise to be the most on top of things but I'll give it a try (but would step aside if someone more dependable wanted to take over!).

I don't think you could be worse than I have been this semester! Smiley

Someone else feel free to step in and take over as team textbook captain next semester. I just can't, this new job and puppy are wearing me out and y'all need a good team captain.

My daughter would be so jealous!  She's been asking for a Yang costume, or at least a skirty thing like her's.  (Don't even ask me how many times she's watched and re-watched the food fight episode!)  Good job!

I wanted to make my self a skirty thing too but I put it off until the day off and I only had time for the gauntlets and jacket, I was a little sad. Smiley

Bunny, I love the plaques and I'm not partial at all Wink
7  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Yang from Rooster Teeth's RWBY on: November 05, 2014 10:37:34 PM
This year I went as Yang from Rooster Teeth's RWBY. I fell in love with her as a character and I knew I had to put together a costume for Halloween.

I sewed by the brown shawl and painted the symbol on a yellow tank top. And unfortunately this is the only picture where you can see the symbol... yeah...

The gauntlets were a lot of fun together but a little frustrating. I used a Heat gun and foam gym pieces. I had a difficult time gluing everything together (for some reason gorilla glue didn't work and I ended up with it all over my fingers...) I finally just hot glued it all. But I love how it turned out even if no one had any idea who I was! Cheesy

Hello, Badwolf!  You've been busy!!  Grin

those finger cookies are awesome, as is your costume!  And the scarf looks warm and your model IS adorable!  The cards are great, but I have to say my favorite is the Iron Man cutting board.  I'm not biased or anything.  Roll Eyes

Of course not Wink besides the model I think it's my favorite too!

Is it ok to use a collaborative project as a Nerdalong craft?  With my husband I'm making a really huge monster costume, which he will wear this coming weekend in the neighbors' Haunted Hike.  I'm doing most of the sewing on the costume and would love to use it for my Battle project, but not if it doesn't qualify....

inquiring mind wants to know.... Huh

I would think as long as you spend at least 30 mins, it's good. That's the rule I've always gone by Smiley
