I got bunny's package in the mail today!!!!! It is amazingly awesome and it's so me!!!

First off, Super Hero cards!!!! They are perfect and I can't wait to use them! I also got an adorable aperture science to do list! And she gave me the cutest chapsticks! Frozen, Harry Potter, and Doctor Who style!!! I am NOT going to lose this set of chapstick!

I squeed so loudly opening this my husband was a bit worried... and I may have taken my pants off and put them on immediately because Magic and Harry Potter!!! These are my new favorite pants to wear around, I super excited it's getting closer to fall because I'll never have to take them off! Wink

I was at a lose for words when I first saw this. It is absolutely perfect!!! I don't know how you did it but ALL my randoms are there and they all go together so nicely!!!

I am absolutely amazed at the time and dedication bunny spent making every single one of these patches. The stitches are so perfect!

I seriously can't decided which patch is my favorite! Seriously bunny, THANK YOU!!!! I love everything!!!!  Kiss

2  Ironman Cutting Board in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by BadWolf314 on: September 16, 2014 07:53:42 AM
I made this for bunny1kenobi for the IYP swap and now that she has received her package, I can show it off!

It's made out of Bloodwood for the red (this was a ton of fun to work with and makes some gorgeous red sawdust), the eyes are maple, and the rest of it is my favorite to work with cherry.

So trying to cut the pieces to a 1/4" wide is quite difficult. When I first pieced him together he kinda looked like a chipmunk. Also the edges were quite sharp once he was all glued together and I may have accidentally cut open my knee a bit (don't worry I fixed him so he won't bite anymore!)

After all the pieces were glued together, he required some planing, and then TONS of sanding and tung oil. The tung oil brings out the patterns of the wood so wonderfully!!!

I meant more like, how does it dispense? I thought it came out the little door, but seeing it open, I imagine that that is not likely.

Ha lolz. Yeah you can open up the little door and the dispenser gun thing will eventually hang on it. It's just like a spray gun so it fits through the small door perfectly. Like this:

5  TARDIS Soda Machine/Snack Cabinet in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by BadWolf314 on: September 06, 2014 11:56:49 AM
My husband loves soda and has been wanting to build his own soda machine forever. I told him he could be it had to fit with our movie room which meant it had to be built into a TARDIS. Surprisingly he complied. The body is built out of mostly plywood and MDF. The windows and Police Box signs are this stiff plastic stuff. I put vinyl over the plastic for the Police Public call signs. The top is one of those walkway lights you can get from your hardware store and we just painted it to match everything else.

It's quite large, but unfortunately NOT bigger on the inside Sad

We fit a microwave in there too. Just had to build a small shelf to put it on. The wiring and piping for the soda machine on the bottom area was the most difficult thing to figure out on this entire project.

We used LED puck lights to light everything up.

And here it is with me for scale. I'm 5'3" and I can stand up inside it.

Gah!!!! I can't wait to see whatever it is... so tempting just to click on a link... Grin

I hoping to get one more project in before the end of the month but I still haven't finished it... it's bunny's large so it's taking a bit of time and I keep getting distracted by the TARDIS in my house!!! I'll post those pictures as soon as that's completely done Smiley
But here's my largish (although not as many as I was hoping) end of semester project dump!

Battle/Challenge: July: Geography
Event: Foodology
Project Name: Tortellini Three Ways
Brief Description: I recently started watching Hetalia and had a random craving for some PASTA!!! Thank you Italy!!! So I picked up some tortellini from the store and had my hand at making some sauces. The green is a basil pesto sauce. I used this recipe to make some pesto and then took some of that, some cream cheese, and a bit of milk to make a creamier sauce. The red is just a regular tomato sauce from this recipe. For the white sauce, I mixed some butter, flour, shredded cheddar cheese, milk and powdered garlic to taste (garlics my favorite thing ever!!!). They were all very yummy and it was impossible to decide on a favorite. And it ended up in the same colors as the Italian flag!

Event: Fabricology
Project Name: Swamp Pillowcase
Brief Description: Ive had this camp pillow for a while and the only problem with it is, I only have one pillowcase. So I used some of the extra fabric and paint I had lying around and whipped up this lovely little thing.
Project Picture:

Battle/Challenge: August: String Theory
Bonus: DIY Instructions Here
Event: Craftology
Project Name: Forest Notebook
Brief Description: The key component to this notebook is the string, it keeps everything together!
Project Picture:

Battle/Challenge: August: Battle Royale - FIRE!!!
Bonus: DIY Instructions Here
Event: Craftology
Project Name: D20 Necklace
Brief Description: I love Magic and one of my favorite archetypes are red aggro decks and my favorite planeswalker has to be Chandra basically all things FIRE! So I made this necklace with a red die I got for playing some red decks recently.
Project Picture:

Battle/Challenge: Team Spirit: Randomizer
Event: Craftology
Project Name: Another swap item for Bunny so no peeking!
Brief Description: Inspired by both the past and the future.

I'm such an awful commmenter!!! Life is crazy right now but all your projects are incredible!

Battle/Challenge: July: Midnight opening
Event: Craftology
Project Name: Let it Go
Brief Description: Frozen was a fantastic movie and my sis-in-law loves it more than I do. She is also a big sports person. As soon as I saw this image on pinterest, I knew I had to make her this shirt for her birthday!
Project Picture:

Battle/Challenge: TS: Multimedia: Entertainment Center
Event: Craftology
Project Name: The Walking Dead
Brief Description: I really enjoy watching TV because I can just sit and watch a quick episode or I can binge and have a marathon. I made this shirt based on my sis-in-laws favorite TV show (I refuse to watch it do to my deep fear of all things zombie related). She loved how it turned out.

Okay I have to brag about my husband for a little bit. Our next project were working on is quite large and while I've been working on other things, he's been doing most of it. But there's a lot of stuff left and I know painting is going to take a ridiculously long amount of time (and I get to be in charge of that!) I also get to do all the signage so once it's done it'll hopefully fit into a prompt so I can show it off all finished! We're even installing looks with keys on it... So I will literally have a key to the TARDIS!!!
