1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Wallies--DIY on: September 02, 2005 09:08:24 AM
Does anyone know how one could reproduce wallies like the ones seen allover?  I found a ton of sweet ones but @ $40. to 60. for a set, I am motivatedd to create them @ home!  I thought this would be the place for a how-to.  I've heard/seen people do it with fabric, but that can get expensive.
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Ribbed Stitch Issues on: August 19, 2005 09:34:07 PM
I learned how to knit 4 days ago, and I've mastered the purl, knit.  I tackeled the stockenette stich fine, binding...no prob...but that STUPID stupid blasphemous ribbed stitch has me all in knots (literally!)  I can't tell what I'm doing wrong.  It's K2 P2 K2 P2 etc, then flip and do the same as the last 2 stitches or move on?  so it's either K2 P2 flip P2 K2 or K2 P2 flip K2 P2??!?!  Can anyone please help me I'm getting frustrated.
3  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / "24" Tees on: July 23, 2005 03:28:52 PM
Hello Fellow craftsters!

I've not ever posted a completed project but this morning I made 2 tees worth sharing with a comunity who'll understand a creator's pride.

I'm a new fan to the show 24, I just finished season 1 and am working my way through season 2 to hopefully get though 3 before 4 starts!  (I feel like a TV Junkie)  So, needless to say, now I'm a HUGE Jack Bauer fan, so is my brother.  So I decided to make a few shirts to convey to the general public my feelings.  (that and I was dying to stencil a tee)

Here's Mine:

Now here it is on the shirt *

* I know...I know...I forgot the island under his nose, but too late now!
