Hello Craftster!  I have been lurking here for 6-ish years and finally decided to take the time to post one of my projects.

I made this hat for my son's first birthday at the end of October.  I didn't exactly finish it on time, but he'll never know. =)

I used this pattern:  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/foxy--wolfie

Here's a progress shot of some of the craziness:

Okay, you see that column of stitches on the left there?  I was knitting intarsia in the round, and that's where I was picking up wraps and knitting them together with the last stitch through the back loops, as per the pattern.  After blocking and picking at them, this is the best I could get them to look.  If anyone has any technique tips that might help me to make that sort of thing look better next time, your advice would be greatly appreciated.  I love how the hat came out, but that column of stitches is the one thing that bugs me.

And the action shot:

After some distractions (read: balloons) he forgot about the hat and stopped trying to pull it off of his head.  Success!

Thanks for taking the time to look.  I'm so grateful to be able to post one of my projects here.  There are so many talented people here whose work I have looked up to and admired over the years.
