1  Unicorn/Dragon/Castle Fantasy Pursetote! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Toadstool on: March 12, 2006 10:18:20 PM
I found this AWESOME fabric at Walmart sometime last summer, so my sister (LaLaFirefly) bought me two yards (as partial payment for cleaning her room - woot!) and I kept it in my cabinet and eventually forgot about it.. until I decided to clean my room. I created a pattern, which I later discover is a variant of the Jordy bag, and put myself to work. I actually bought the inside fabric after I got the outside, but I thought it would be wild and crazy, so I used it.

I hear this stuff is discontinued, too Sad

Ralph has arrived!

The bunny arrived naked and it's been pretty cold here (it snowed for the first time Sunday!), so I whipped him up a hat:

And here he is with me and my sister's (LaLaFirefly) friend, Jamie:

3  Re: My Personal Character swap in New Swap Theme Ideas by Toadstool on: October 29, 2005 06:43:08 PM
How do you guys feel about Anthropomorphized characters?
When I can't be some form of dark elf, I'm usually an anthro. During the one moth that I thought Everquest 2 was cool I played a Kerra. (Cat person) Since then I've seen the light of WOW and I'm a night elf now. ^_<

Have you ever heard of Lineage 2? I play at a freeserver called "Pandora" (which can be found at www.l2pandora.com). It's about a gig and a half download including the patch. They have Dark Elves, though:

But yeah, it's a bunch of fun! You guys should try it out. If you decide to download it gets pretty tricky installing the patch so if you need any help just note me or something!

4  Re: the Little Visitor, I'd like you to meet... in The Swap Gallery by Toadstool on: October 04, 2005 05:15:43 PM
Oh man, I was so excited when Hippo arrived!
Before lunch everyday my dad goes home and checks the mail, starts laundry, tidy's up, etc., then he comes to my work (aka. my Mom's Cafe). I saw him arrive and I asked him if I had gotten anything. "Yeah, some Canadian Rinocerous or something." At that moment I started flipping out, screaming "HIPPO'S HERE!", which I left work immediately, rushed home, and found Hippo waiting on the counter for me!

Hippo's big entrance.. dun dun dun!

Hippo meeting my two plastic buddies, Kameko the panda and Pip the hippo:

Hippo meeting Albert my Leopard Gecko:

Before taking this I heard Hippo muttering something about a warm tank and a new friend:

Hope I didn't load you guys with too many pictures! I'm just way excited Smiley

5  TUG in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by Toadstool on: September 10, 2005 09:35:47 AM
This is my good friend's Harry Potter character, TUG. TUG stands for Trojan Unicorn Girl. She's got a really great storyline going on with her characters -- she's super talented.
If any of you guys want to stop by and check her out, she's at: spinelicker.deviantart.com

6  Re: MS Paint doesn't always suck in Completed Projects by Toadstool on: August 12, 2005 08:17:39 PM
Oh wow! More MS Painters! We should totally start a group or something.  Wink
I did some digital stuff while being bored a few nights ago:

((I feel really silly when I post my things to other people's threads!))

That is such an awesome bar! My favorite part is the girl standing at the window -- I LOVE her hair!
And I love the iPod pictures - I was going to make one myself one of these days, but I still haven't gotten around to it. Lovely portraits, too! I was never good at portraits Smiley

This is what I do when I get bored or I'm waiting for someone to respond on Craftster. I doodle on MS Paint!

9  Gumby Claymate: Clayboy Of The Year in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by Toadstool on: August 07, 2005 07:26:49 PM
A friend and I were reliving moments about being a kid, and we got into the subject of television, and it somehow came to Gumby.

I wish I could get the actual iron-on larger, but I was working with a 200x153 sized picture which looked terrible if stretched any further.

My partner recieved her things! I thought I'd post a picture of what I did, but I seem to have lost the scan on my computer. I do, however, have a WIP of the watercolor that I scanned before my scanner broke.  Roll Eyes

I also sent a sketch of the "Marauders" in their animal forms. Hope you liked it, Super Geek Smiley
