How cute! I'll have to look for that book; I haven't seen it before. The postmark is lovely!

Pottermouth, I LOVE your Pointy Kitty! She is SO CUTE. And of course Naantje's real kitty is adorable as well! I love her little round face.

Mether Moonflame - you have made beautiful needle-holders, as always. BARATHEON PRIDE!

Thanks, everyone! The butternotmints have all vanished now, so it shouldn't be too long before we're forced to make something new. . .

I do have numerous other projects in the works, too, so I should be able to post pictures of Things sometime soon!

Class/Challenge/House Pride: June Challenge - Kitchen Duty!
House: Reffenclaw!
Project Name: The Buttermints Which Aren't Minty
Brief Description: We recently managed to procure 'The Liddabit Sweets Candy Cookbook' from our library.  The cookbook is lovely - it's packed with all sorts of amazing-looking sweets that we're planning to make.  This is the first recipe we've tried so far - they're meant to be buttermints, but we decided to follow two of the suggested variations (chocolate AND coffee!).  Mum (Moonflame!) and I collaborated on them and they seem to have turned out very well!

Mum rolled and cut some of them

and I rolled and cut some of them.

They are ALL delicious.
