My art teacher has a cardigan that she loves, and would like to copy. Anyway, she knows I knit and has asked if I can figure out a pattern for it.  I think it's knit top down with raglan increases, but I don't know how to get the st st to be slanted on the front. Do I just put a st marker at the underarms and on each row dec 1 on the outside of the marker and inc 1 at the front edge? Or is it something completely different??

Well, I've finished (here it is, blocking), but the neckline on mine is huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuug e! It's pretty low too.  

This is a direct quote from Mr Kinkyknit when I tried it on:

"Yes, it does look wierd, but it draws attention to yout tits, and that's never a bad thing"

Woo!  I received!!!

I was sent some very cool earrings (which are red! yay!) and a stencilled tee (very professionally done - as someone who can't do this, it seems like magic to me), and a pendant, which is gorgeous, and I DID take a picture of it, but my camera has eaten it!  I have also just seen that the earrings pic is a bit rubbish - I'm so terribble at photography, but I shall get some new photos asap!!

I'm knitting "Sorrel" from Rowan 40, and the sleeves are knit in a sort of rib. I've been increasing, and now I'm at the point where the pattern says to knit until the sleeve measures 44cm.  

My question is that because the sleeve is rib, it's really springy, so I must need to stretch it a bit to measure it (or do I??!), but how much is enough?

I took some (admittedly quite poor) pictures to show how stretchable it is:
