1  How to make festoon blinds? in Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions by kinkyknit on: October 18, 2010 01:13:28 AM
Hi

I've done a few searches on Craftster and I can't find festoon blinds anywhere, so I'm wondering if there's a different name for them that I don't know!

I apologise if there is and I've missed a whole raft of how-tos! - but I'm looking for a simple tutorial to make this sort of blind, hopefully with pictures and not too wordy because I did find one online and I couldn't follow it at all Sad

Can anyone help? - or tell me if there's a different name for this type fo blind/curtain?

Thank you!!  Cheesy

xx

5  Vintage style wraparound apron help needed please!! x in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by kinkyknit on: May 25, 2008 10:13:51 AM
I'd like to make (or buy!) and apron in this style, but I can't find a pattern anywhere!  Sad  It's probably a really simple shape, but it's beyond me, so I wondered if anyone knows of a pattern like this anywhere?  I'd be very grateful to anyone who could point me in the right direction!

 Smiley xx

Oh my goodness he is adorable!!! (what's his name?) I want to wist him, he's so lovely!

I have indoor cats (their choice, not mine, they are also rescue cats and are very nervous) and they wear break-away collars at all times with their (my  Smiley) phone number on a tag for the extremely occasional times they venture outdoors and just in case of emergencies.

I'm sorry I can't find a better picture, but I want to make a 1940s military side cap a bit like this for a costume, but I haven't got a clue how to start? Does anyone know how I could make one?  Huh

10  Fitted Knits spicy v neck tee back yarnover frustration! Please help! in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by kinkyknit on: August 09, 2007 07:51:30 AM
Hello!

I started knitting this top and I've had to rip it back 3 times because the back yarnovers just are not working for me. They end up uneven, no matter how I try to do it. Has anyone else had this problem?

Is there an error in the way the pattern is written? Or am I just stupid?

This is my latest attempt - the yarn overs on one side are much closer to the centre than the other side.

It's going to go out of the window if it's not careful.  Angry
