I actually received a couple of days ago, but this is the first time I've had more than 5 minutes at the computer since I uploaded my pictures.  Kiden2 sent me some awesome stuff, so there are a bunch of pictures!

I had come home and the dogs wanted to go out and play right away, so at first I didn't notice this:

A package tucked in my side door!

Sirius checked it out.

Kalli checked it out

What's inside?

A cookie cutter and recipes for dog treats.

Awesome pictures of Miss Kalli - it's kind of hard to tell, but the top left one is color pooled, but from a distance it looks like a regular picture.

A leash holder, which might end the middle of the night 'where is the leash' problem

Fleece tug toys, which are, amazingly, still intact.

A decorated jar of treats (they smell really good, my husband wants to eat them)

A reversible bandana

Other side

This is why tug toys don't last very long Smiley

Kalli likes her toys....well, she likes Sirius' toys best of all!

Thanks for the awesome package Kiden2!!!!

3  Re: Dog Swap sign-ups 7/11-7/21 sendouts 8/21 in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by miss_cute_boots on: August 11, 2008 06:14:05 PM
Hey everyone, I'm the replacement swapper, so you get new puppy pictures!

Here's Kallisti (we call her Kalli) our boxer/apbt/some sort of hound mix

And this is Sirius.  This is the picture that was up on Petfinder and I fell in love with the goofball.

Currently, I'm a little over halfway done with one of the medium items.

Slowly but surely, I'm catching up with posting pictures Smiley

Here is my wonderful package from jamesdean.

The whole package

Pretty green earrings and a fused glass necklace (I love the necklace - it is the perfect length)

Bath stuff - the candle is plum pudding and smells good enough to eat!

Notecards fit for a queen

A princess scrapbook -- so very me!!

The slice of life fun box - filled with all sorts of amusing things.  It took all my willpower not to read everything in one sitting!

Some inspirational (and amusing) sayings with candy!!

And for those of you looking for  the chunky mudflap girl, here you go:

Loki and Rizzy love their package.  I recieved yesterday, but since the kitten was being naughty, they didn't get their package until today.

Loki is very helpful and wanted to open the package.

Or maybe he just thought it was part of the present for him (or it could be because he tries to eat anything that doesn't try to eat him first)

Here's the presies for the kitties.  A blankie, a buunch of felt toys (I love the fortune cookies), a sparkly ball (their favorite) and sholaces.

Presies for me - some felt angel cat cut outs and kitty lace.

Loki thinks that he is a dragon, so when new toys come in the house, he has to guard his hoard.

There was a bit of debate over who got to play with the sparkly ball first.

They both pretended they weren't interested, but Rizzy did finally take off with it.

7  Re: Saturday Market Bag in Knitting: Completed Projects by miss_cute_boots on: June 07, 2006 10:00:03 AM
Oooh I think I'm going to make one too! I like to go to the Farmer's Market every weekend, and it would be nice to have a market bag! Plus, it's perfect because last summer I bought a bunch of Cotton Fleece on sale, and I haven't really had anything to knit with it.

Do you actually need a US15 circ? Because I don't have one, and I'm not-very-gainfully unemployed right now. Would I be able to make this without getting new needles?

You don't need us15 circs, just the us10s.  You knit the two pieces on the 15s, seam them togeather, then pic up stitches all the way around for the size 10 garter stich part.

Also, I now have a slightly less fuzzy picture that has stuff in the bag:

And it stretches quite a bit.

8  Saturday Market Bag in Knitting: Completed Projects by miss_cute_boots on: June 06, 2006 04:47:21 PM

http://magknits.com/June06/patterns/market.htm
This was a fun little knit.  I did make some changes to it though.  I used Lion Brand Kitchen Cotton to knit it and I added more garter stitch and added a row of yo's so that I can run a ribbon through to close it up.  Mine seems a little shorter that the one on the pattern, but I also haven't loaded up the bag yet, so I'm guessing it will stretch out some.

I received from Radal16 on Friday and have been busy busy busy every since.

Here is what I recieved:

On the left is cashmere, the middle is alpaca and the right is silk noile.

I decided this was the perfect time to try my hand at carding, so I carded all three togeather (the silk lets off little wisps that drive cats nuts) and I've started spinning up a wonderfully extravagent yarn.

Here's the first batch of singles.

10  So many pictures :) in The Swap Gallery by miss_cute_boots on: May 12, 2006 11:48:18 PM
First of all, here's what I recieved:

Two celtic knotwork purses (the black one has red embroidery that my flash apparently ate) - the cat did not come in the package, he just firmly believes he needs to be in every picture taken.

Stamped cards.

Super nifty button

Celtic knotwork wristwarmer.

Photo album - which makes me a little sad because it seems like everyone else is going to Ireland - my in-laws are there right now and my parents are going in about a month.  Maybe I'll just steal their pics Smiley

I'm going to have to guard the purses with my life to make sure my sister doesn't steal them.

And here's what I sent:

An Irish knotwork scarf, which I thought wouldn't get much use this time of the year, but seeing as it feels like early March in the midwest, I guess I was on to something.

Close up of the lace.
