71  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Mini Mario! on: August 08, 2009 03:37:32 PM
I don't know exactly what to do with these, they're each approx 4x4 (inches). I can't find any tiny enough frames for them.
Excuse my crappy camera work, the one I have decent at macro shots won't hold a charge and I'm trying to find my spare battery!
72  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Don't know what to do with a piece, need some suggestions! on: January 06, 2009 11:25:05 PM
I stitched some small (maybe 1x1 inch) hearts going ROYGBIV (rainbow) in a straight line across the canvas, and I can't think of anything to do with it! I want to add to it, a phrase or something.. Help!
73  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / More geeky stitches! on: January 06, 2009 11:15:01 PM

I have a lot of spare time. Smiley
74  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Geeky Valentine's Day! Cross stitch on: January 01, 2009 01:31:58 PM

This took me a while, it's only my second cross stitch. I'm happy with how it turned out. I made the pattern in Stitches for OS X.
75  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / My first cross stitch! And geeky to boot! on: December 31, 2008 12:15:05 AM
This took a while.. the spacing isn't the greatest.. but I like it, my roommate is framing it and hanging it somewhere for everyone to see our geekiness.
76  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Wrecked some shirts, here's what I got done on: May 11, 2006 11:13:11 AM

$1.50 tie-dye shirt, stencil done with printer ink

Tye dye shirt, done with acrylic paint
77  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / 5 second handbag with tute (no sew) on: January 25, 2006 05:49:09 PM

I took an ugly toque (winter hat) that doesn't match with anything I own, and some shoelaces and made that.

1. Take ugly toque, mark where the drawstring should go. I was lazy and threaded it in and out, rather than sewing, and pulled them out at the front and tied them.

2. Take another shoelace and attatch at 2 points.

3. Handbag!
78  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Too short jeans on: January 21, 2006 03:43:24 PM
I'm too short to wear normal jeans, so I generally just wear capri's as pants, (I havea  26" inseam) and I have 2 pairs that are just a bit too short. I really like them though, ones a nice dark blue, any ideas on what to do with them?
79  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Cat hat on: December 15, 2005 04:44:07 PM
I got bored, sick of studying, so I made this.
It's warm. It's snowing so hard out right now!
80  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Ugly hoody to hat on: December 09, 2005 07:01:13 PM
I had a brown hoody I bought for $5 and a black toque I bought for $1. The toque was too big and the hoody was too small so I made this hat. I wanted rabbit ears, it turned out more like dog ears.
Tell me what you think.
My roommates think its stupid..
