1  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Ye old bedroom from home. (image obese) on: January 24, 2008 07:15:56 PM
This is my old room from when I lived with my parents (I recently moved to saint catherines, but I'm still living in a townhouse on campus that doesn't give much room for decorating). I like bright colours and annoying patterns!

My parents are moving out my stuff and probably painting soon so I'd figure I would post a tribute to my funky bedroom.

I picked the colours, and painted and stained everything myself. The desk is a piece given to me from my great grandfather, its the same desk I've had since birth. The doodles on it are from my younger days, modpodged on from my notebooks.

thanks!
2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Dragon Stuffies? on: November 07, 2007 03:43:00 PM
So I drew names for my dad's side of the family, and I drew my aunt!
I wanted to make my family presents, and was thinking about possibly making her a sewn dragon, since she's into medieval culture, dungeons and dragons, and magic.

I was trying to find ideas online, but most of them are cartoony children's toys, and since she's in her 20s, I wanted something more adult!

So if anyone knows of any other threads similar to what I'm looking for, posting them would be great! They don't need to be tuts I basically am just looking for ideas right now!
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / tampon case + cozy on: July 25, 2007 10:38:20 AM
As I am moving away for university, I'm trying to deplete my random stocks of craft stuff I never found purpose for.

Thus this was born:

It's made out of dollar store felt I bought like 5 years ago for no particular reason.

the inside (sorry if any males or grandmas are offended Tongue)

and with the cozy I made to use in my purse.

It's a bit thrown together, mostly because I just made it while having a coffee visit with my grandparents, so I didn't pay much attention to making it.

thanks for looking
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Mod Podged Doodle Desk on: May 28, 2006 03:05:32 PM
This is the first thing I've posted on craftster, so I don't know if the images will show, please bare with moi.

I have a horrible habit of spending more time doodling in my notebooks than actually writing notes, during class, so this entire thing is podged with all my doodles from early grade 9 (I made it near the end of grade 9, and I am in grade 12 now). It didn't get completed, because I run out of doodles at the time, then I got lazy, then I forgot about it, and now I don't doodle because I only have an art profolio class and co-op.

I didn't feel like taking pictures of anything and this is the only craft that I have pictures of on my comptuer right now, so here she is.

I've had the desk since I was born (it's my great grandfather's) and moi being moi, had to personalize it to the point of ruining it.

My mother loves it, my grandmother scorns me every time she comes over.

Enough with my life story, I just loved this site so much, and yesterday started reading it again.
