I'm in Baltimore City and would enjoy getting involved.  My interests are all over the place...currently polymer clay and alcohol ink, but would be up for most anything.
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Discussion and Questions / Polymer Clay for Garden Markers - Is it too toxic? on: May 13, 2013 02:33:42 PM
I'm considering creating some markers to put in pots of herbs and veggies and would like to make them from polymer clay.  I've read that it's toxic, it's not toxic...and it seems it all depends on what you read.  Any advice?  I understand completely that my pasta roller should be "dedicated to clay" and I don't bake it inside because the fumes are definately not pleasant. Nothing about toxicity on the packaging from my most recent purchase.  Anyone have any comments?
