
Not sure if this should go into the designer thread but anywhoo! I kind of merged two dresses I'm in love with at the moment - this Sretsis dress and this Alice Mccall dress, because I just can't get enough of cut out details and backless dresses
I dunno, I just think they're really cheeky and fun!

It was pretty simple, just your regular bodice (lined) with bust darts, added short sleeves, pleated skirt (which I'm a bit iffy on, I think the pleats on the back should go the other way, cos in that photo it kinda makes my butt look flat/wide *sigh* perfectionist), and it does up with a button & loop at the back of the neck and a zip at the skirt. The only tricky thing was maybe getting the size of the front cut out right - the first bodice I made, I cut out a 'small' triangle which turned out to expose things that it shouldn't have! haha and also added in some darts at the back of the bodice - otherwise it would have been gaping!
