1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Easy to crocheted tote( with pattern) on: March 13, 2009 05:25:06 AM
Hi, I'm just starting this beautiful bag and having problems with second row of round one. I'm not understanding it at all. What should I be doing? Please help me!
Cheers, jessica.

Hi it's me again,
I was going ok with this but realised I didn't have enough yarn to finish so unpicked what I'd done and am now working on something else. Would be keen to start again & have my yarn ready. Can I call on you if I run into any problems?  Will not be starting for a few weeks.
Cheers, jessica53.

Well here I am again, it's now 9.30pm on 25.04.08 and I've again changed my mind about hook size and reverted to 4.5 which makes my back width 23.5 inches - not bad I thought, only 1 inch out.  So now I am on Row 2 of the last 8 rows. I'm hoping this will be long enough (I think it will).  Am trying not to read ahead with the pattern to avoid confusion and already am getting brain waves on how to cope with the front/s.  This is very exciting tho slow for me as I'm not a fast crocheter but hey, I'll get there one day!
Cheers, jess.

Hi Angela, Can you please tell me what the 'relief stitches' are/mean in the
Short & Sweet? I'm only onto Row 3 of the back and enjoying it immensely but feel like I'm maybe flying blind.
Regards, jess.

Well, here I am again. Decided to unpick my first two rows and use a smaller hook - size 3.5 (I think). It's much better, still size L but width seems correct with this hook. Am now starting Row 6.

Hi May,  I'm hoping it's me you want to join with for crochetalong for Short&Sweet.  Do you think we should place this with the 'Crochetalongs'?
I noticed there's one already there but not for Lefties.  I wouldn't know how to move stuff from one section to another, do you?
Anyway, I've started my back today - up to Row 2 (so I'm slow (lol) & I'm doing size L on 4.5 hook. I'm thinking even 4.5 may be too big but will see how it goes.
Cheers, Robyn.

Just wondering if anybody wanted to have a Leftie crochet-along for the Short & Sweet.  I will be starting this as soon as I organise my yarn and will be using an 8ply cotton/acrylic blend.  I hope I can get someone to join me, 'cause I'm sure I'm going to need help.
Jess.
