1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Christmas earrings! on: November 10, 2007 10:27:02 PM
I was in Walmart looking around and seen these cute little ornament looking charms...I'm not even sure what they are called. As soon as I seen them I had so many ideas running through my head, I couldn't wait to buy them and get home so I could make something with them. lol I'm a dork.
The first ones are lights and are small and cute.

These are snowmen...and are also small and cute!

I can't wait to wear them and show them off near Christmas. They aren't big at all, and I can't stand big dangle earrings.

Thanks for looking Smiley
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Hemp jewelry on: October 24, 2007 06:41:26 PM
I just started making hemp stuff, so they may be kind of plain looking. It's become very addicting though, and I hope I can make them look better in the future.  Wink

Hope the images aren't too big.
Thanks for looking Smiley
3  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / White canvas, is there some way to take paint off? on: July 22, 2007 05:17:45 PM
I'm stupid and painted over something that wouldn't come off. I used white but I guess the shoe wasn't the same color white. Should have thought about this before I done it, but I was in a hurry. I was wondering if there was some way to take the paint off? I have scrubbed and scrubbed and nothing is working. If not then my shoe is ruined. I'm so pissed off at myself right now. lol
4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / "Cosmetic" containers on: June 20, 2007 11:38:04 AM
I'm sorry if this is in the wrong board!  Undecided
I have a sudden urge to try out lip balm making and I need small round containers to put my lip balm in after I make it. I cannot find these anywhere. I think my mom did a search and found 144 for $24. I may end up getting those, but I kinda wanted them now. LOL You know how you are when you get an idea and want to do it now!
I have looked at Walmart, AC Moore, Michael's, Dollar Tree, and online Oriental Trading. No luck.
Thanks in advance!
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Skirt Bags on: May 08, 2007 01:10:16 PM
I recently went to the Salvation Army and bough $20 worth of mini skirts. I'm making bags/purses for a fundraiser. I have then all sewed up but I don't know what I could add to them to make them more appealing to people. I also do not have any idea what to use for the straps. I was hoping to make the bigger skirts look like messenger bags used to carry school books or something in. All ideas are appreciated!
6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Father's Day / I'm clueless! on: April 22, 2007 10:44:23 AM
My dad has been a truck driver for a little over 22 years. He loves traveling (obviously), reading western books, those little hand held poker games, fishing, and pretty much takes care of his big rig and pickup truck like they are his own children. He's also diabetic. I'm clueless on what to buy or make him. I no longer have a sewing machine, but I could easily use the no sew stuff that you use an iron on. Have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

9  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / HELP! Mom's birthday is Friday! on: October 14, 2006 10:42:29 PM
I always wait until the last minute. Right now though, I'm having such a creative block. My mom is turning 46 on Friday and I desperately need help! She loves gardening and basically anything to do with outdoors. Any ideas on what I could do, buy or make for her?

Thanks in advance!
10  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Costumes for me & my dog on: October 07, 2006 07:43:12 PM
I have a 3 year old Chihuahua and I've decided that we need to have some sort of costumes that match or work with the other. I need some suggestions because Halloween is slowly creeping up on us!

Thanks in advance!
