6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Christmas earrings! on: November 11, 2007 05:41:01 PM
Yes, Sky! I didn't know what they were called. haha It's okay! It's fun to see what others have made.
I found them on an end cap in the craft section. The only ones that would have made good earrings and were small enough were the lights and snowmen. I'm going back tomorrow though to see if I can find anything different.

I think just because they are miniature it makes them 10 times more cute! lol
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Christmas earrings! on: November 10, 2007 10:27:02 PM
I was in Walmart looking around and seen these cute little ornament looking charms...I'm not even sure what they are called. As soon as I seen them I had so many ideas running through my head, I couldn't wait to buy them and get home so I could make something with them. lol I'm a dork.
The first ones are lights and are small and cute.

These are snowmen...and are also small and cute!

I can't wait to wear them and show them off near Christmas. They aren't big at all, and I can't stand big dangle earrings.

Thanks for looking Smiley

10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Hemp jewelry on: October 30, 2007 11:29:32 AM
Thanks everyone  Cheesy

The clasps I use are called "crimp metal connectors" or something like that. They work really well! You have to bend the ends down as much as you can just to be on the safe side so they don't pull apart from the hemp. I need to buy more, they are awesome.
