2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / So there once was this shirt. on: May 04, 2009 01:25:15 PM
And I loved it dearly...but alas i only could wear it once because when i washed it, all the elastic came aprt and their were holes all over it....

So I was sad....

But one day I got creative and made this....

My new dress...

I'm not the best at sewing but I keep trying, so it isn't the best quality, but i still love it.

 Smiley

I have been wanting to enter a challenge for a long wile, but it seemed like everytime one came up I got busy, and had no time to craft about!

Well this time I did it finally.

I never have even thought of re-doing a chair, so I went out searching thrift stores for just the right one.

Many had potential, but I saw this one.... and I loved it cause it was just my size. My legs actually touch the ground when I am sitting on it, and that made me so HAPPY! (I am 4ft 9in)

So I dished out 12.99 and went to work.

Here is the before!

After painting, sewing, gluing, and stapling this is it! A chair fit just for me!

And here is the chair in its enviroment, it matches my room so well. I love it!

This was fun I can't wait to enter another one!!!

I don't know if you can read this, but it says KRAZY KAYLA SAY'S and then I sewed on a velcro strip and I can change the message anytime I want!!!
