1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Quick questions on tassels for a pillow on: October 26, 2005 08:00:02 PM
I've made a needlepoint for a pillow for a thank-you gift.  I bought velvet for the back, and four tassels for the corners.  I want it to look really nice.

My questions:  Will tassels look funny on a pillow with no piping around the edge?  The tassels come on a little string loop.  Do I sew them so the head of the tassel is snug against the corner, or do I let a little of the string loop hang out?  I've been looking on the net, but I can't get a clear picture or a straight answer anywhere!  Thanks in advance, oh knowledgable ones!
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Crocheted Blizzard on: July 29, 2005 04:27:11 PM
I made about a million of these in the last ten years. I had over 40 different designs, including some I made up.   I've managed to stop now.  There are 3 or 4 crochet pictures here.  Not all snowflakes - hearts, too.

3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Tarot Card Cross-stitch on: July 29, 2005 04:19:49 PM
I finally got my crap together to try and post some of my stuff.  Here's one I finished in Jan. 2004.  (Still haven't stretched it).  You can't tell in the photo, but there's some sparkle in alternating sun beams.
