4  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / red on: August 21, 2005 06:26:19 PM
So i finally made the decision to try to sell the stuff i make but i thought i should have a spicy name.

my mom and i decided on 'red' as i have red hair and i like the color blah. as a tag on the phisical object i just sew a red bit of fabric with no words but i wanted some kind of hanging tag that said 'red' and that it was handmade.

does anyone have any advice on how to make professional looking tags?

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / one year anniversary gift (image heavy, sorry) on: August 07, 2005 07:25:19 PM
I just wanted to show off what i made for my boytoy.

first off i made him a shirt. Their are two windows on it. I went with this because we both like the song 'tunnels' by the Arcade fire' particularly the line "ill dig a tunnel from my window to yours" i sews the green stripes on to make it more boyish

and a close up of the window

Next i made some wrapping paper by making a stamp with the number one on it, and stamping it on some tissue paper

and here it is all wrapped up (along with a copy of bukowski's Love is a Dog from Hell.

let me know what you think!<3
