1  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Poppy's Flower Garden on: April 11, 2016 11:23:41 AM
This is fun! Do you quilt with long arm, or on your standard machine?  I'm curious, because I'm wondering how fleece would work on my standard machine (if I ever learn to do fancy machine quilting).
2  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Focus Through the Prism Challenge Quilts on: April 11, 2016 11:16:30 AM
Last year, I participated in the Focus Through the Prism challenges at Project Quilting.  I managed to get all of my mini-quilts finished, even if I didn't get them bound in time to ship them for the show.

Photos of the individual quilts and info about my inspiration for each can be found on my blog at - http://mouseinmypocket.com/?s=Focus+Through+the+Prism
3  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Westlund Baby Quilt & Taggie on: April 11, 2016 11:11:42 AM
Thanks WaggonsWest! I'm hoping to have this up on my blog in a week or two.  But it has to be gifted first.
4  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Huxley's Monster Quilt on: April 11, 2016 11:09:23 AM
This quilt was made for my nephew Huxley Sampson.  It features fabric from the Monster's Inc crib sheets that are part of his nursery decor.

This quilt uses the Squares and Strips Bed Quilt Tutorial from Cluck Cluck Sew.  For more photos of this quilt, visit my blog - http://mouseinmypocket.com/2015/10/huxleys-monster-quilt/.
5  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Communique Quilt on: April 11, 2016 11:05:28 AM
This is a king-sized quilt I made for my bed at home.  It features blocks from a panel from the Communique fabric line by Wilmington Fabric.  The blocks in this quilt are various sizes of wonky log-cabins, along with a few HST and 4-patches for the smaller blocks.

For more photos, including the pieced backing, visit my blog, http://mouseinmypocket.com/2015/11/communique-quilt/.
6  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Westlund Baby Quilt & Taggie on: April 11, 2016 10:52:01 AM
A quilt I made, at my sister's request.  It's being gifted to her best friend who is having a baby in a few weeks.  I made it for her at cost, with the condition that I get a photo of the baby with the quilt.

For this quilt, I used the Squares and Strips Bed Quilt Tutorial over at Cluck Cluck Sew.  I've made several other quilts using this pattern, though this time I chose to do the blocks at 1/2 scale.
7  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: My first "Real" Quilt on: October 15, 2014 07:35:51 PM
This is lovely for your first quilt. And the best part is how much your daughter loves it! Congratulations.
8  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: White moth mini art quilt on: October 15, 2014 07:31:27 PM
This quilt is lovely. And thanks for sharing your embroidery reference. I'm always looking for good new ones to check out. This really makes me want to make a mini quilt too!
9  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Ticker Tape Skulls Art Quilt! on: October 15, 2014 07:26:53 PM
This is great! It has such lovely detail work. I particularly like your handmade poly-clay skulls.
10  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Christmas Crazy Quilt on: October 15, 2014 07:22:29 PM
I just finished my Christmas themed crazy quilt! Finishing at 48"x72", the quilt is comprised of 8" and 12" blocks. I started this quilt last fall, but when it wasn't finished by Christmas last year, I took a break from it. I finally picked it back up a couple months ago, and this is the finished product. I'm very proud of how the quilt turned out, and can't wait to hang it up for the holidays.

I'd love to know what you think! Please feel free to stop by my blog to see more photos and find out more about the quilt.

Edit: More pics added.
