i feel like my package isn't going to measure up since I couldn't send the best item Sad...stupid expensive postal service!

everyones stuff is so amazing! just amazing!

I'm sure that it is going to be amazing! Smiley

There was a delivery attempt notice on my door when I got home today! That means that tomorrow morning I can go to the post office to pick it up! Since I sent mine 2 days before Bunny sent hers, that means that mine shouldn't be long off either! Yay!

(P.S. I think you should post a photo of the unsendable item! I love it, even if it didn't end up being mine)

here is the unsendable  Undecided

6  Ode to the Mighty Craftster Army Parachute Purse *first sewn purse* in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by bunnyboo on: March 13, 2007 11:11:27 AM
So my hubby has this way of persuading me to go to the Army Surplus store "in search of craft supplies". Funny that it's the only "craft supply" place he'll go to with me  Tongue while we were there the guy at the counter was disassembling a parachute (no joke). I scored this wesome patch and some super super heavy duty parachute snaps. Here is the resulting purse.

I was thinking something utilitarian style, but it's my first sewn purse so what do I know lol. It has a place for my cards, and a messenger style flap that fastens with a button on one side. on the opposite side is a big open pocket that fastens with army green velcro. I am a constant purse rummager and I hate pockets so the open pockets are perfect.

All hail the craftster army Wink

7  Sweatshirt recon/sewing sampler in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by bunnyboo on: March 07, 2007 06:41:22 PM
So I'm tring to become a little more acquianted with my new sewing machine. I got this men's sweatshirt for $2 at wally world. It was 2 sizes too big and I just thought i'd make it into something while practicing appliqueing and all the nifty embroidery my machine does. Its a take on folk art pictures by Charles Wysoki who's art I just adore. I made my own minding out of ribbon, put in a zipper, cut off the cuffs and tacky elastic bottom and did allthe appliques. Good stepping stone, i learned a lot to say the least lol

10  Kitchy 70's owl evening bag/clutch & skully cuff for my DH *New Stitch??* in Crochet: Completed Projects by bunnyboo on: February 23, 2007 05:52:20 PM
The clutch is in the standard awesome 70's colors, green and orange. The owl is hand pieced felt with vintage buttons cut from a reconned coat. The cuff was straight black with a vintage 2 button closure with a crocheted skull aplique. no pattern was used for either item.
