1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Craft Ideas for Camp Needed: tell me your favorite camp crafts! on: May 29, 2006 02:17:24 PM
Hi Everyone,

This summer I'll be working at a German Language camp. I'm looking for traditional German (or Swiss, or Austrian-- basically anywhere people speak German) crafts. The campers range in age from 9-18 and are both boys and girls. Also, if you remember any crafts that you especially enjoyed when you were a camper (regardless of whether or not German speakers make them) I'd love to hear about those too!

Thanks so much!

3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / photo ideas needed please on: February 02, 2005 04:51:15 PM
hey guys,
i have an art class on saturday and last week my teacher told me that i should bring a photo (hardcopy or digital), color or black and white. I'm not completely sure what we'll do with it i thought we would do painting, but someone thought we were going to do photo transfer things. so it would be great if you could tell me your favorite images, or give them to me, for my project.

thanks so much!

5  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / comics/inking questions <3 on: November 29, 2004 08:57:39 PM
so i've really been getting into graphic novels recently and i've made a few little comic like things. and i was wondering if any of you knew of art supplies that you use for them. i mean, i've just been using my pen, but i'm reading V for Vendetta and I really want to "take the next step" or whatever. so what do you guys/your friends use?

thanks

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / terrible tight jeans need transforming on: May 17, 2004 07:40:29 PM
hi guys,

i have some jeans that i used to wear all the time (a few years ago)... they are now a couple sizes too small... i would really like to make them into a skirt. the problem is that the waist is too small now. is there some way that i could make these into a skirt that fits?

i'm also open to other ideas for transformation (-frankenpants because those require a fitting waist)

thanks.
