52  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Zardosi embroidered hairclips on: January 19, 2014 09:04:28 AM
I came back from India with a suitcase full of beads and threads, I couldn't wait to stitch again. So right after I came back I set the silk on the hook and went for that.

55  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Little pocket - silk thread and wool on linen on: November 11, 2013 10:52:24 AM
Here is my new creation, I didn't stictch for a very long time so it's very great joy I did this challenge.

The design is French Vintage (reassemble a bit, otherwise it was too large).

I used silk ribbons, wool, silk thead on linen. You can see more pictures on my blog. There the explanations are in French but if you do need them in English, please do tell me.

It's wonderful, congratulations for such a work.

It makes me wish to go open my "manipulating the fabric" book Smiley

I did this after reading, and re-reading Albama Chanin last book for a long time.

At first I didn't know what to chose, there are so many beautiful things to do in it. So I started by something easy, but which seemed stunning to my eyes.

The work was long but the fabric is so nice to touch, the progressing work was so lovely to look at, that I didn't mind.

And I must say I'm really really pleased with the result. It's simple but stylish, I love it ! My only fear is to lose it  Shocked
