1  Very simple dress in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by ThéaOz on: July 24, 2014 02:16:44 AM
Nowadays I don't bother with patterns anymore for my children.
The simpler it is, the better it is.

Here it's a rectangle, with an elastic and 2 straps.

It's the material which makes it nice Smiley

2  Zardosi mandala in Needlework: Completed Projects by ThéaOz on: July 14, 2014 02:49:37 AM

June was a bit complicated for me, so I needed to unwind a lot.
To stitch is my therapy. And to add sparkes to a material add sparkle to my life too. However cheesy that sounds it's true Cheesy

So with few sequins, beads, silk and thread I did that.

3  From men shirts, a dress, and a sari in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by ThéaOz on: June 18, 2014 11:52:50 AM
I wanted to  make this lovely top since last year, but I didn't have time, and when I had again, it was not the season anymore.

So I got ready for it, but I wanted to make a muslin first. Except I didn't have muslin materials and I didn't want to buy anything.

My husband donated my few stained shirts few months ago.... I had lightish material.
For the inside I had an old dress to cut from.

And the back, the blue I love, is from a sari.

The pattern is Datura, from Deer&Doe. More pics and info http://theaoz.wordpress.com/2014/06/08/datura-chemisesari/ Smiley

4  Rag Quilt with few of my favorite materials in Quilting: Completed Projects by ThéaOz on: May 04, 2014 09:00:44 AM
Here is the rag quilt I've made this week.

I really try to have my pile of fabrics to get down, but these are a few of my favourite ones. It's great to be able to have them around thanks to this quilt.

Thanks a lot to the ladies on youtube who explained so well how to do it, I didn't know about this style of quilt. It's so easy, it's a great thing to do quicky.

And my daughter absolutely love it !!

5  Floral embroidery in Needlework: Completed Projects by ThéaOz on: March 22, 2014 12:30:36 AM

From a material I like I drew the flowers (very inspired by indian designs) and then stitched it.

I really like it, but it's so precious I don't know what to do with it. The last silk ribbon piece I made didn't do so well in my handbag. If you have any ideas, please let me know Smiley

6  Hand sewn dress - Alabama Chanin style in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by ThéaOz on: March 08, 2014 05:12:29 AM

After a month and a half of work, here is my new dress.

It's done with knit, from the book Alabama Studio Studio + Design.

I'm a bit disappointed as my knit was not stretchy, and the dress is a tad small. But well, it's done so I better enjoy it !

7  Re: Tenniel's Alice in Wonderland Lino Cut and Print in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by ThéaOz on: March 07, 2014 01:46:03 PM
Okay so I did this a couple of months ago for a swap and realized I never posted it! Roll Eyes  This was (I think) 8x10" slightly simplified version of a scene from Alice in Wonderland with Tenniel's illustration (since that was my swap partner's preference).  I sent the cut along with a print (holy crap, SO hard to do) but hopefully onyxnox is enjoying it in her crafting!

In case you're wondering, yes, it took FOREVER

Forgive the mistakes, I'm terrible at printing but I'm working on it!!

The cut itself...

It's amazing ! Well done, it's wonderful !

10  To stitch from an idea in Needlework: Completed Projects by ThéaOz on: February 17, 2014 04:00:58 AM
We had to stitch from a word : fragility...
So I thought about a bird, alone in the winter cold.
