1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / New Pop Art Icon Series on: May 05, 2013 12:35:46 PM
Hello!!!

I wanted to share with you guys my newest series that I've been working on. I got inspired one day and just started writing a list of all the people that have influenced me, from childhood and as an adult.

Included in the series (so far) are Bette Davis, Betty Page, Freddie Mercury of Queen, Dita Von Teese, Liz Taylor, Audrey Hepburn and Malcolm McDowell from Clockwork Orange. I'm currently working on an Elvis piece and have plans for Brando, Pacino, the Rat Pack and stuff like that.

Thanks for checking these out and I hope you like!

(I'm still new and trying to figure out these forums. Is there a particular way I can respond to people on here so they KNOW I'm responding to them?? I am a bit of a techtard, I guess lol Thanks!)

I love the blending!

Thank you Smiley It took a while to get it just how I wanted it. That skin was like 8 different shades before I settled on that lol

Hi all Smiley Just wanted to share the painting I finished today. It's a part of a series I'm doing. I'm completely obsessed with eyeballs for some reason right now lol This is the second in the series and I'm really happy with it. Let me know what you think, please Smiley

Thank you! We have a local Giclee printer here in my area, but the ones in the photo were actually digitized by me and printed on Matte paper at a local drugstore. I offer these types at craft fairs, benefits and stuff, so my clients can get copies of original work and commissions for about 10% of the original paintings Smiley

Hi everyone Smiley I'm a newbie here, so I've been getting my round of "first posts" in on the various boards here. I've been a lurker for a long time and completely love this community.

Anyways, I'm Jen. Nice to meet you! Here are some of the portraits and artworks I've done in the last 6 months or so. I work as a local popart portrait artist, so I get the opportunity to do some REALLY cool and fun stuff Smiley Hope you enjoy!

A Marilyn Monroe pop-art:

A Demon. Her name is "Ravenous" from my Angels and Demons Series. I loves her:

A Memorial for Mitch Lucker, the singer of Suicide Silence, who tragically passed last year:

A portrait I was hired to do of my two friends Smiley They are adorable and I had so much fun painting this:

Commission I did of Opie from SOA:

A commission I did of a friend's Harley. This was interesting but so fun to do:

Some of my prints that I recently had done. I'm still reeling over these. It's so exciting!

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / First Post! My purses, wallets, wristlets and a lil bit of art stuffs :) on: March 24, 2013 07:36:17 PM
Hi guys! I have been a lurker here for a long, LONG time and about two years ago, I started sewing bags and started a design line. It's come a long way, and I wanted to post here to say thanks for all of the tutorials and shared projects. Here are some of the purses and accessories from the last couple months. I'm a BIG fan of pink (as you can tell from my name lol) and skulls. They tend to be my fabrics of choice.

Here is a setup of my table at a recent benefit. Some of my artwork can be seen here, too.

Thanks for looking! And thanks for being such a kick butt community! I never would've had the nerve to even TRY to sew without you guys!
