1  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Some prepster q's on: May 18, 2007 03:14:00 PM
After abandoning it for a few months because of school, I finally started working on Prepster again.  I'm working on the back and I just finished the first row of shaping the sleeve area, and I'm wondering if there's any particular reason WHY I fasten off at the end of this row?  And why do I suddenly start working sc's on the WS of the piece?

If I didn't fasten off and just kept working, with sc on the RS and dc on the WS, would it affect the rest of the pattern?
2  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Fat Bottom Bag question - too many sts? on: February 23, 2007 11:06:55 PM
I checked all the previous help topics about this bag and didn't see anyone else who had this problem, so here goes...

Is there an error in the pattern for the gold bag?  Because when I get row 15, it says I need to ch 2, hhdc into the next 18 stitches, 2 hhdc into next st, hhdc 5, 2 hhdc in next st, hhdc into the last 19 stitches - 47 st.  This doesn't make  sense to me, because by the time there are 45 stitches, I should have 20 sts on either side of the 5 in the middle, which I do.  The pattern also has those numbers when I start doing my decreases as well, so yeah, is that just an error in the book, or did I accidentally add some stitches somewhere?  Any answers would be appreciated!
