wow, how long it it take you?
I would've put like 3 and quit..haha
but I love it =] I would def. wear it around proudly

do the flowers go around the back?

Thankyou! Altogther it took around 4 hours, which wasn't as long as I thought it'd take.
The flowers don't go around the back, but I'm thinking of putting a small cluster on a bottom corner of the back?

I bought a fairtrade tee from Topshop that I was never going to wear. So after doing a japanese influenced project at art college, inspiration struck me!

There's 18 flowers in total, all individually handpainted with acrylic and textile medium, and three sequins individually stitched in the centre of each. It took a while to do, but I'm really pleased with how it came out Smiley Sorry for the blurry picture, I'll post some of the detail when I can find my camera!
4  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: You've got your skin tights, colours on the floor! on: October 09, 2007 11:37:34 AM
Cool job, what do you use to paint them?

I only used acrylics, and they hold up pretty well Smiley I don't wear them in the rain, cos it'd trash my shoes anyway. I used a fabric pen to outline it Smiley

I had no clue what to wear footwise to a Hadouken gig earlier this year, so I found an old pair of slip-ons I had never worn. It started off just me colouring some of the squares with highlighter pens, and then I ended up painting them  Grin!

The left shoe (which is shown on the right, ha!) consists of a mixtape and stars, the right shoe has a knock-off of the Hadouken logo, space invader and more stars Smiley
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Don't you want to feel my bones? on: July 27, 2007 05:09:51 AM
Nice - how did you make them?

I had loads of skull beads lying around that were originally elastic bracelets until they snapped, and those sort of bracelets make me look 12 years old, rather than 17. So I took apart a pair of earrings I never wore and replaced the beads. Now I have a pair of earrings i can wear on a night out, but still stick to my alternative self Smiley

i quit art at college after doing it for a week because i was sick of being told exactly what to draw. i haven't done art in over 2 years now, aside from the odd sketch or watercolour here and there.

i like to do a bit of manga too Smiley

i have an interview for a new art college next week, and would be grateful if anyone could help me with tips for creating my portfolio Smiley

Ok, so they're skulls.

They're the first proper earrings I've done :/
10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Do your chain hang low? on: February 19, 2007 11:20:23 AM
So the story's like this; I was all set to go to a Klaxons gig last night, but realised although I was equipped with glow sticks, painted t shirts and neon nails, I had no nu-rave jewellery. I was looking around for something lying around I could shove a needle through and put on a chain, and I found these Hama beads I had an obsession with a few months back.
5 minutes later and I had constructed this;

And if anyone's wondering, the gig was great (:
