Sorry, so long to reply. Its likely that there will be another sale around Christmas this year. Im hoping to make it bigger, and advertise more, but nothing is official yet. I will try to post it on here as soon as dates are set. Thanks so much for your interest!
Thought some of you might be interested in swinging by Apus craft sale, as crafters yourselves. If anyone is interested in buying handmade craft projects, Alaska Pacific University is hosting a craft bazaar selling students work on Friday (Dec 7) from 4-7. It'll be a small event, but I know students would appreciate any public or sales. So if your doing First friday, and/or checking out the regular galleries on campus, please take the time to swing by the Atwood Center Building. One of our students is providing live music.
Also, if any of you are local crafters (anchorage) that would be willing to do a volunteer presentation for our Art Club, let me know, that would be awesome.
well, im not sure what its called, but i saw a pattern a few years agoe for a purse that you strapped to your leg under your dress for prom, iT was held up by like a garter/elastic strap. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how to make something like this so i dont have to carry a purse?
I think ive decided to join this thread way late.. Im not even sure im going to prom..but i want to make a dress anyways..
I want it to be an "anti-prom" prom dress.. I think Im gonna make it out of duct tape on top, and trash bags on the bottom.... and either write something like "sad thing is im not the one who looks trashy.." on the belt.. or to make the top out of that write on masking tape stuff.. and write about responsibilty, and sluttiness, and wasting your parents money on one overpriced hour..
Im really not sure how to do this yet so any ideas or advice would be appreciated.
i say door beads.. paint pop can tabs neon or glow in the dark, put into the case, and string with pony beads.. if yours are the same as the ones i used to get, the cases have little air holes in them that fishing line or thread could fit.
