1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: My black wedding dress!!! on: January 01, 2014 09:30:37 AM
I love everything about this wedding!  Gorgeous.
I am getting remarried in two days and have a mostly black dress as well.  Trying to figure out what to do for my bouquet.  Loved yours...

Great job.
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Rainbow Scrap Granny Square Blanket (with continuous join-as-you-go tutorial) on: November 12, 2013 09:14:30 AM
Thank you!  Excellent tutorial.  I agree that joining is the worst part.  DD is making several GS afghans for Christmas.  I will enlighten her now.  Cheesy

This is a touching story, and a beautiful finished product.  You have something really special there because it is a legacy of three generations.  How very special.  I like it so much that I may enlarge the pic and copy the stitches.  Thank you for sharing.

I paint watercolor, and I think the portrait is beautiful!  I love the paint spatters...The only suggestion I might have is to include some warmth.  On my monitor at least, it appears to be completely cool.  Adding some warm tones will create a balance and make a very good picture become great.  There are so many good things about it already.  Keep up the good work.  I probably wouldn't mess with the hair.

Very cute.  Love the fabrics you chose, and it makes it original.  Thanks for sharing.

It looks nice, and is a great idea.  I just pulled out my daughter's machine and it was very dusty, even though it had been in my linen closet.  Sooooo, I need to make one of those.  Thanks for sharing!
9  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Just made up a bunch of these handmade washcloths for spares on: March 12, 2013 11:43:51 PM
Those are really cute!

I have knitted some dishcloths using Peaches 'n' Cream, but the cotton ones take too long to dry hanging on the faucet, so I tried using a lightweight acrylic (good stuff, not cheap yarn), and they dry quickly and don't stink.  LOL.

They make a nice teacher or housewarming gift.  Thanks for sharing.
10  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Cloth Napkaaaaaaaaaaahns! (Star Trek cotton print napkins) on: March 12, 2013 11:51:14 AM
These are sweet!  I do not like science fiction, but the idea of the reversible napkins is cool.  How big are the squares?  I've been in a napkin-making mood lately.  Have lots and lots of fabrics to use up and my BF is asking for more.
Thanks
