I too, went to a church's summer camp when I was around 12 or 13. It was in the rec room of the basement of the church my friends went to. My mom was trying to shove me into social interaction mixed with Jesus which I could understand. I was quiet and "creative" and had a small group of friends that my Mom didn't think was enough so off to camp I went. The camp wasn't terrible and we discussed theology and asked questions pertaining to faith itself.  Every kid in that camp was some sort of miscreant and I think my friend enjoyed it because there was this cute boy she liked there. Mostly I taught myself how to play pool that summer and Egyptian rat screw.  Cheesy

Hey Mollie!! Welcome welcome! Hope you find this place as fun as we do!  Cheesy

Also, read this tutorial on Craftzine.com the other day and it's about making a necklace out of sea glass using a wire wrapping technique. I think it's exactly what you're looking for! Hope this helps  Smiley

I try to make every craft a pain so for paper stuff I use Matte Mod Podge. The other two adhesives I use would be hot glue or E-6000. E-6000 is so awesome, I don't know what I'd do without it. It has good movability, a reasonable setting time, and is flexible when it dries. I use it whenever the hot glue just isn't up to snuff.

I poked around the thrift store the other day with some gal pals and picked up several old illustrated books for this and future swaps. I'm sooooo excited!!  Cheesy
