1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / beginner sweater ? on: August 20, 2005 05:54:36 AM
HI,

I'm elementary in knitting and need some assistance.
I am having a hard time knitting the shoulder part of my arm piece that connects to the body of my sweater.
Any helpful tips?  In general, how many do you cast off in each row to get the curved effect.
*remember, I taught myself so leyman's terms work great for me*

Thanks.
2  Illinois / Illinois: South / Any Crafty Consignment Shops in Central/ Southern Illinois or St. Louis? on: May 28, 2005 07:12:18 AM
Hi,
I make some great handmade greeting cards and such.
Such as skirts and bags and accesories and am looking for a market in my area to sell my wares.
I currently sell in many other states, but am interested in selling in my own.
If you have a shop or know of one that sells indie artist items, would you let me know?
Any info is helpful, I'm  not having much luck here.

Thanks already.
