Brief Bio, News in Your Life, etc:

I am a good friend, sister, daughter, auntie, teacher, crafter, and grad student. I am going for a Masters degree in Elementary Ed. I am currently a preschool assistant director and teacher and I just celebrated my 17th anniversary at the preschool. I supervise the Art Room in our preschool and I love using recycled materials with the kids. I teach sewing to the Pre-K class each year - we make stuffies and felties. Sometimes the children help me out with swap items/ideas!

Paper stuff, sewing, stuffies and dolls, dotees, beading, shrink plastic, quilting

Dark chocolate, good music, creative people and funny people.

Dislikes, Pet Peeves, Allergies, etc:
ALLERGIC to some nuts, Sarah Palin and furry things. I prefer bold colors (think Fiesta Ware) and mid-century modern as a style. I also like thrift stores and I look for vintage fabric, old magazines and books, costume jewelry, toys with pieces that can be reused, and things to alter (tin stuff and wood frames, to name a few).
