Help!!!! Everytime I try to make something the edges are never even.  It is really annoying.  I guess I could count but I always lose track.  I just want to make a scraf!  Another problem is that when i pull on my yarn then it looks even so I don't know if it is the guage or what. Any help would be appreciated.

10  CLOTHING / Sewing Pattern Reviews / Re: Super duper high pattern prices! on: June 17, 2005 09:59:10 PM
I still think you can save some money sewing your clothes-once you have all the stuff.  I just brought this awesome fabric for like $4 or 5 a yard.  I had really colorful Japanese Geisha's on it with a black background. I brought it with  a 50% off coupon  Then I went to walmart to buy the patterns(I know walmart is evil but I am poor and wear plus size) All their slimplicty patterns are always 50% off and they have some patterns for less then $4.  Unfortunately those weren't plus size.  I can't wait I learn how to alter patterns and work on my crocheting skills so I can make myself some cool clothing.  I guess I am just getting started with both so for now I will have to wait and follow patterns. Anyway the pattern I did settle on was 6 something and I can make at least two things from that, so I guess you just have to wait for sales.  I am going to try ebay too maybe I can save some money that way.
