Hello,

haven't posted in a while I have been setting up my own business and started a course in art and design  Cheesy

I made my cousin this princess dress because she is a massive girly girl and now she can be a princess any time she wants. I used a mcalls pattern which I altered a fair bit- I lowered the neckline at the back, lengthened the skirt by about 4 feet so I could bustle it. It is decorated with a white ribbon round the middle which was top stitched on and pink diamantes which cover the bustle stitching and round the neckline at the front. The hem on both the outer layer and lining is bias bound because the fabric is a pain for fraying.

The last image is the most accurate for colour- I will take some more photos of her in it at the weekend.

me too  Sad I have a chihuahua and a larger dog who pulls pretty badly on leads- we are using her as a test subject to find a way to translate this kind of harness onto bigger doggies  Grin

Hello,

I have some more doggie harnesses which are much better than my previous attempts- to the extent a pet store bought them off me!  Grin

There is another girls harness but I forgot to take a photo before I sold it  Roll Eyes

Haha well at least I'm not the only one Grin I've fixed the bodice (finally), I tried to stay true to the pattern by keeping the darts and just rearranging them but it wasnt happening so I chopped 2.and a half inches off the bottom and it fixed it - thank you so much for your help I think I would have just been putting darts  all over the place if not for you  Cheesy
